By Sean McDaniel: Amir Khan has the bad luck of fighting on the same night at David Haye in his huge bout against Dereck Chisora on July 14th next month. Khan will be facing WBC light welterweight champion Danny Garcia at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, and that fight pales in comparison to the Haye-Chisora fight.
Haye vs. Chisora
Is Haye the Jack Dempsey of the heavyweight division?
Haye will have too much speed for Chisora
By Sean McDaniel: Next month former WBA heavyweight champion David Haye and Dereck Chisora will be battling it out on July 14th at Upton Park in their non-title bout on BoxNation. This is the fight that the WBC and the British Boxing Board of Control have been against from day one, but it’s going to happen whether they like it or not.
Tyson Fury wants Haye-Chisora winner
By William Mackay: Undefeated #7 WBC heavyweight contender Tyson Fury (18-0, 13 KO’s) is hoping he can fight the winner of the July 14th fight between David Haye and Dereck Chisora, according to WBN. The 23-year-old Fury figures that he already beat Chisora last year, so beating him again shouldn’t be any problem. Fury also doesn’t see the cruiserweight-sized Haye as any problem either.
Wladimir not interested in fighting Chisora or Haye
By Dan Ambrose: IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko turned up his nose at the idea of facing either David Haye or Dereck Chisora in the future, even though a fight against either of them is easily the biggest fight he can make right now among the less than popular bunch of heavyweights in the division.
Boente: Haye chose Chisora rather than Vitali; he’s missed his chance now
Wladimir: I’m totally against the Chisora-Haye fight taking place
By Scott Gilfoid: IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko is really against the July 14th bout between Klitschko victims Dereck Chisora and David Haye from taking place. Wladimir doesn’t like the fight, and feels because it’s not sanctioned by the British Boxing Board of Control that it shouldn’t go ahead.
Haye will do a better job on Chisora than Vitali did
Haye calls Chisora and coach idiots
By John F. McKenna (McJack): For a fight that will not be sanctioned by either the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) or the World Boxing Council (WBC) the bout between former WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (25-2, 23 KO’s) and Derick Chisora (15-3, 9 KO’s) is certainly drawing a huge amount of interest in the boxing world and in the British Isles in particular.
