Chisora figures he’ll be able to get to Haye once he tires out by the early rounds.

Chisora told the Telegraph.co.uk “If I lose this I will go down the drain. We know he’s not fit and doesn’t run. He was puffing out again against John Ruiz. You tag him on the chin and he’s going to sit down…I can knock the sucker out. He’ll be breating out of his a** by round four.”

That sounds interesting but not entirely realistic unless Chisora gets a lot faster on his feet, because he’s looked painfully slow in losses to Tyson Fury, Robert Helenius and Vitali Klitschko recently. He doesn’t do well against guys that are able to put their punches together and move a little. Even 40-year-old Vitali was able to easily evade most of Chisora’s attacks and beat one-handed due to Vitali suffering an injury to his left shoulder early in the fight.

Haye sees Chisora as a crackpot, and thinks he’s been stalking him from club to club. Haye points out that he’s not worried about it, saying he already put Chisora down once in their brawl in Munich after Chisora’s loss to Vitali. Haye sees Chisora as a loser on three division levels – domestic, European and world level.

Chisora’s promoter Frank Warren recently threatened legal action with the British Boxing Board of Control after they said they would take away the licenses of those involved with the Haye-Chisora fight.
