We start with last Saturday night at Upton Park where David Haye stopped Derek Chisora in a 5th round TKO victory. It was a marvelous night with a great atmosphere which was due to the 30,000+ crowd who were treated to 5 rounds of action which ended with Chisora stopped but both guys showed some class as they embraced at the end all but ending their feud.

However, Chisora said afterwards that Haye hit him with a “Lucky punch,” when Haye nailed Chisora with a big left hook followed by a right hand that knocked Chisora down for the first time in the 5th.

In the 5th round, Haye knocked Chisora to the canvas twice with huge shots. After the second knockdown the fight was halted by referee Luis Pabon.

Instead, Haye was only up for fighting 10 rounds instead of 12. Chisora thinks that’s pretty lame of Haye and he’s lost some respect for him because of that.

Image: Steward: Wladimir thinks Haye will beat ChisoraBy Jason Kim: Emanuel Steward, the trainer for IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, is pulling for Dereck Chisora (15-3, 9 KO’s) to upset David Haye (25-2, 23 KO’s) on Saturday night because Steward very much would like to see a fight between Wladimir and Chisora. Steward doesn’t see Wladimir showing any interest in facing Haye again if Haye defeats Chisora on Saturday due to the one-sided nature of their fight last year in July.
