After blood, sweat and some tears the super six, super middleweight’s world boxing tournament comes to a conclusion next month in Atlantic City. On the 29th October, Carl “the corba” Froch (28-1, 20 KO’s) will take on former American Olympic gold medallist, the highly skilled Andre Ward (24-0, 13 KO’s) to decide the winner of this much demanding tournament. Both boxers are putting there world titles on the line, which significantly will be for the W.B.C and “super” W.B.A championships of the world and also for the vacant, prestigious ring magazine belt.

I think confidence is a good thing to have up to a point, but Froch seems too confident for the limited talent that he has. Someone needs to sit Froch down, give him a good cup of coffee and let him watch his past fights one by one to show him how average he is compared to the much more highly skilled Ward.

For those of you who were there at the birth of this showtime Super Middle weight tournament, the prospect of finally seeing the winner is probably a welcome relief. Its the final everyone wanted after the withdrawals of Mikkel Kessler and Andre Dirrell and it could be argued the most exciting prospect for a final shoot out even if those two were still included.
