By Scott Gilfoid: If I was to read the tea leaves for the October 29th Super Six tournament finals bout, I would have to say that I see WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch (28-1, 20 KO’s) not only losing to the talented WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward (24-0, 13 KO’s), but losing so badly that there’s a certain amount of humiliation that Froch may suffer in the process. It’s never good to get beaten black and blue in front of the entire world, but it’s going to be worse in that it’s going to be a one-sided fight.
Froch-Ward
Froch has a pipe dream of knocking Ward out
By Scott Gilfoid: WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch (28-1, 20 KO’s) is no longer knocking out opponents like he did earlier in his career. The old power just isn’t there for Froch. Indeed, Froch has only knocked out two opponents in his last eight fights, and hasn’t recorded a knockout since stopping the fragile-chinned Jermain Taylor in 2009. Some would say Froch is getting old, but I think he never really was a big puncher to begin with.
Ward mapping out his future after Froch, wants Bute and Kessler
If Froch beats Ward, Sergio Martinez or Pavlik could be next
By Scott Gilfoid: If you believe in Santa Claus and the tooth fairy, you’ll believe that WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch (28-1, 20 KO’s) will beat WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward (24-0, 13 KO’s) in the finals of the Super Six tournament on October 29th to get to big money fights against the likes of Kelly Pavlik and Sergio Martinez.
Ward to change people’s perceptions about him by whipping Froch
By Scott Gilfoid: With Andre Dirrell still temporarily on the shelf until September, WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward (24-0, 13 KO’s) is the best fighter in the super middleweight division right now at this time. On October 29th, Ward is going to knock off the current WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch (28-1, 20 KO’s) in the finals of the Super Six tournament in New Jersey.
Haye: Carl Froch to be Britain’s next unified world champion
By Scott Gilfoid: David Haye hasn’t given up his predicting the future for fellow Brits, even through his own fortunes have taken a death spiral recently with his humiliating one-sided 12 round flop-filled decision loss to IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko earlier this month on July 2nd.
Froch vs. Ward: Andre will clown Froch on October 29th
By Scott Gilfoid: Carl Froch (27-1, 21 KO’s) is about to run out of luck in the Super Six tournament and end up getting drummed out after WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward (24-0, 13 KO’s) dominates Froch and clowns him in the process of whipping him on October 29th in the finals of the tournament at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, in New Jersey.
Carl Froch: A champion Britain can be proud of
By Dan Henderson: Life is looking good for WBC super-middleweight champion and super six finalist Carl Froch as the 29th of October is fast approaching and looking to be a career defining fight against American and tournament favorite Andre Ward.
Froch vs. Ward to take place at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City on 10/29
By Scott Gilfoid: WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch’s chances of emerging at the Super Six tournament winner took a huge, and I mean huge, drop today when it was learned that Froch will be facing World Boxing Association (WBA) super middleweight champion Andre Ward (24-0, 13 KO’s) on October 29th in their finals bout at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. That’s it, Froch has pretty much no chance of winning this fight as far as I’m concerned. It’s over with.
Froch to give Ward a real challenge
By Joe Unsworth: I have seen quite a few articles on various websites and magazines, stating that Carl Froch has no chance against Andre Ward in their upcoming Super Six final at Boardwalk Hall on the 29th October. I cannot believe that some people are still giving Froch a hard time, claiming that he is not a world class fighter and that he will be easily dismantled against the unbeaten Ward.
