Froch: I am coming with dynamite in both hands and I’m going to explode on Ward

Here’s some of what Froch said:

“I am coming with dynamite on both hands and I’ll be ready to explode on the night. I will not be denied.”

Oh brother. This guy needs to lighten up. It’s not going to happen. The last thing Froch needs is to be exploding in the ring and making a mess of things in front of the world on October 29th. Seriously, though, if Froch comes out there with his primitive caveman style of fighting he’s going to get badly exposed once again, even worse than he did in his “Win” against the talented Andre Dirrell in 2009.

Froch needs to be thinking differently for this fight, because he’s going to get picked apart if he goes there clubbing with his slow hands. Froch, if he was smart, would use his long reach and try jab Ward from the outside. That’s one thing Froch can do that won’t leave him nearly as exposed compared to if he tries to mix it up with the faster, and arguably much more gifted Ward.

You can’t take a guy that’s got no hand speed and throw him in with one of the most talented fighters in the division and expect him to do well. No, Froch has got to use his incredibly long arms and jab. That’s my advice. Maybe he might get lucky and open up a cut that will cause the fight to go to the cards early. That’s about all I can suggest for Froch, because if he tries to fight Ward he’s going to get clocked. There are several levels between the two of them in terms of talent and Froch exists on a more primitive level.
