By Dan Ambrose: Former two division world champion Shane Mosley (46-6-1, 39 KO’s) is hoping to get a second crack at Floyd Mayweather Jr. (41-0, 25 KO’s) this year if Mosley can get by his next fight against Manny Pacquiao (52-3-2, 38 KO’s) on May 7th at the MGM Grand, in Las Vegas, Nevada. For the aging 39-year-old Mosley, back to back fights against Pacquiao and Mayweather would be the equivalent of a golden parachute to help ease Mosley’s retirement from boxing.

Bradley is kidding himself if he thinks Mayweather or Pacquiao will fight him next
By Chris Williams: WBO light welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (27-0, 11 KO’s) is really hoping that he can get a fight against unbeaten Floyd Mayweather Jr. in his next fight in 2011. I’d say the chances of that happening are about as likely as me winning the lottery this week. Bradley needs to come down to earth and take a good hard look at his performance against WBC light welterweight champion Devon Alexander last weekend. And Bradley needs to also look at the small crowd of 6000 that showed up for the fight. The place was practically empty, which says a lot about Bradley’s drawing power.
Bradley thinks Mayweather would beat Pacquiao easily
By Chris Williams: WBO light welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (27-0, 11 KO’s) thinks Floyd Mayweather Jr. (41-0, 25 KO’s) would easily defeat boxing’s cash cow Manny Pacquiao if and when they ever fight in the future. Bradley, who is a good judge of talent, believes Mayweather would “easily” beat the Filipino fighter.
Mayweather thinks Mosley doesn’t have much left for Pacquiao
By Chris Williams: Floyd Mayweather Jr. doesn’t like Shane Mosley’s chances against Manny Pacquiao in their little mega fight at the MGM Grand, in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 7th. Speaking with Ben Thompson at fighthype.com, Mayweather said “I don’t think Shane really has too much left at 39-years-old. From the outside looking in, people didn’t realize how tough of a fight it was with me, but was a tough fight for him. I think that was his last hurrah.”
Shaw thinks Bradley has a good chance of fighting Mayweather if he beats Alexander
By Dave Lahr: WBO light welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (26-0, 11 KO’s) may not have much chance of getting a fight against Manny Pacquiao if Bradley destroys WBC light welterweight champion Devon Alexander (21-0, 13 KO’s) on Saturday night in Pontiac, Michigan. But Bradley’s promoter, Gary Shaw, likes his chances of getting an euqually well paying fight against unbeaten Floyd Mayweather Jr. instead. That would be even better, because a Mayweather-Bradley fight would be huge because of the skills of these two fighters and all the fans that Mayweather would be able to attract on pay-per-view.
Maidana wants to fight Mayweather or Pacquiao next – Boxing News
By Dan Ambrose: The hard hitting light welterweight Marcos Maidana (29-2, 27 KO’s) says that he’d be interested in facing Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao in his next fight, according to fightnews.com. Maidana is coming off a 12 round decision loss to Amir Khan in his last fight in December. It was one of those fights where Maidana gained a lot even in losing, because he was taking the fight to Khan in the last three rounds and had Khan on the verge of a knockout.
Mayweather says Pacquiao fight didn’t get made because Manny didn’t want to take blood tests 2 weeks before the fight
By Chris Williams: Unbeaten Floyd Mayweather Jr. (41-0, 25 KO’s) came out with an explanation why his mega fight between him and Manny Pacquiao didn’t get made last year. Speaking with fighthype.com, Mayweather said “The Mayweather-Pacquiao fight didn’t get made because Manny Pacquiao said he wanted two weeks of non-testing. The last two weeks leading up untilt he fight, he didn’t want to take the tests, so that’s why the fight didn’t happen…Giving blood doesn’t make you weak. Not being able to juice because you have to give blood makes you weak.”
Shane Mosley did not throw the Mayweather fight
By Daniel Echevarria: Hey Fight Fans, I still see on many comments to this day the issue of Shane Mosley totally throwing the fight. Many people believed the fight was fixed because of Mosley’s non-performance after the second round of the fight. During that time, it was clear and I mean totally clear, that Mayweather was not invincible after Mosley caught Mayweather with two great shots.
World Without Mayweather
By Rasheed Catapang: He who hesitates is lost.
In the heat of the moment, we sometimes call genius mad because the rest of us are incapable of understanding the reason behind. Denied of such a spark, we are often blinded by the light when its brilliance is shining upon us. But we always know special when we see it though we may not acknowledge it at times. And with hindsight, we knew when we had witnessed greatness because greatness is compelling and always makes its presence felt.
Pacquiao’s recent victories are much more impressive than Mayweather’s
By Tony Lee: Manny Pacquiao has only been a welterweight fighter for two years, yet he has already managed to do more against 147+ pounders in the last two years than Floyd Mayweather has. To get some kind of idea of this, we can look at each fighter’s last three fights.
