Bradley is kidding himself if he thinks Mayweather or Pacquiao will fight him next

I’d say the chances of that happening are about as likely as me winning the lottery this week. Bradley needs to come down to earth and take a good hard look at his performance against WBC light welterweight champion Devon Alexander last weekend. And Bradley needs to also look at the small crowd of 6000 that showed up for the fight. The place was practically empty, which says a lot about Bradley’s drawing power.

I’m not even talking about how poorly Bradley fought against Alexander. Bradley looked horrible, trying to slug with Alexander and connecting with his head almost as much as his punches. Does Bradley honestly think that Mayweather will want to him of all people when he does decide to come back? I wouldn’t even waste my breath mentioning Mayweather if I were Bradley. That fight isn’t going to happen anytime soon. And a fight with Manny Pacquiao won’t be happening either. For that to happen, Bradley will likely have to sign up with Bob Arum, and even then, Arum would probably let the fight stew for a year or so and let Bradley fight soft opposition to build up his name more before throwing him in with Pacquiao to be ripped apart.

No way would we see Bradley in with someone like Marcos Maidana if Arum gets a hold of Bradley. Believe me, it will be nice safe fights to pad his record and make Bradley look invincible until he’s put in with Pacquiao to be massacred. I think Bradley isn’t as good as Maidana nor as good some of the other top light welterweights in the division like Lucas Matthysse, Kaizer Mabuza and Zab Judah. Those guys would give Bradley tons of problems. Bradley can’t punch and Maidana can. It would be a Pacquiao-like massacre if Bradley is put in with Maidana.

Hopefully, Bradley’s current promoter Gary Shaw matches him with Maidana next so boxing fans can see a good fight. Forget about Mayweather and Pacquiao, Bradley is not going to get those fights anytime soon.
