Chisora’s slap heard around the world
By John F. McKenna (McJack): When challenger Dereck Chisora (15-2, 9 KO’s) slapped World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (43-2, 40 KO’s) a day ahead of their heavyweight title clash Saturday night at the Olympiahalle in Munich, Germany it was in essence the slap heard around the world.

By William Mackay: In early action in tonight’s title fight between challenger Dereck Chisora and WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko at the Olympiahalle in Munich, Germany, British featherweight Stephen Smith (13-1, 7 KO’s) stopped Arpad Vass (7-3, 5 KO’s) in the 1st round of a blowout mismatch.

Vitali: Chisora hit me and ran away; what a coward
Warren thinks Vitali has a lot of advantages over Chisora, but he has a feeling there could be an upset
(Photo credit: KMG/Dmitriy Abramov) By William Mackay: Dereck Chisora’s promoter Frank Warren sees WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko enjoying an overwhelming amount of advantages over Chisora in tonight’s fight in Munich, Germany, but Warren has a funny feeling that Vitali’s advantages might not result in him winning. Somehow I’m not surprised.
Chisora could take the easy way out tonight and get disqualified
By William Mackay: I wouldn’t bet against Dereck Chisora opting to take the easy way out of his fight tonight against WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko by fouling to the point where he’s disqualified for doing something crazy like hitting after the bell, throwing rabbit punches, low blows or biting.
Haye to attend Vitali-Chisora fight LIVE tonight to see how Vitali reacts to the slap
Booth: Chisora embarrassed Vitali, but he’ll pay for that tonight
(Photo credit: KMG/Dmitriy Abramov) By Jason Kim: Adam Booth, the trainer for David Haye, thinks Dereck Chisora (15-2, 9 KO’s) made a huge mistake by embarrassing WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (43-2, 40 KO’s) by slapping him in front a room full of people with television cameras rolling. Booth thinks it was a ploy that is doomed for failure when an angry Vitali is standing across from Chisora tonight at the Olympiahalle in Munich, Germany.
Chisora: I slapped Vitali because they messed my career up for 18 months
By William Mackay: Dereck Chisora finally came out and gave a halfway reason answer as to why he slapped WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko, saying that it was because he felt his career was screwed around with for the last year and half due to Vitali’s brother IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko twice pulling out of fights with him due to injury. Those cancellations took up a big chunk of Chisora’s career unfortunately.
