By Scott Gilfoid: HBO expert analyst Max Kellerman sees former WBO super bantamweight champion Adrien Broner (24-0, 20 KO’s) as a bigger puncher than Floyd Mayweather Jr., but not quite as good as him defensively. Kellerman is able to see differences between the two talents, and doesn’t see Broner as a copy-cat clone of Floyd like a lot of boxing fans think.
Speaking to thaboxingvoice.com, Kellerman said “He’s [Broner] a good defensive fighter but not quite as good as Floyd. In actuality, he’s a better puncher than Mayweather and maybe a better puncher than I think he knows he is.”
