Kellerman is able to see differences between the two talents, and doesn’t see Broner as a copy-cat clone of Floyd like a lot of boxing fans think.

Speaking to thaboxingvoice.com, Kellerman said “He’s [Broner] a good defensive fighter but not quite as good as Floyd. In actuality, he’s a better puncher than Mayweather and maybe a better puncher than I think he knows he is.”

Broner has an uninteresting fight against WBC lightweight champion Antonio DeMarco (28-2-1, 21 KO’s) on November 17th at the Boardwalk Hall, in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

HBO will be televising the fight, and while some boxing fans are looking forward to the fight as if it’s going to be a competitive fight, it really won’t be. Broner is going to destroy the skinny, stork-like DeMarco within four or five rounds at best. DeMarco is considered by many to be the best fighter in the lightweight division, at least he was considered to be the best until Broner got there. He’s now second best.

Broner is clearly the more talented fighter of the two, the bigger puncher, the faster faster and the better guy defensively.

The only real thing that DeMarco has going for him in this fight is his 5’10” height, which will give him a three inch height advantage over the 5’7″ Broner. That’s not enough, though. That’s a good thing to have, don’t get me wrong, but DeMarco’s reach is the exact same as Broner’s, and that means that Broner will have no problems landing his shots against the taller DeMarco.

The fact of the matter is Burns couldn’t make 130lbs so moved up last year rather than fighting Broner.

Broner himself couldn’t make the limit in his last fight against Vincente Escobedo last July, not once but twice but insisted that he was super featherweight.

Let’s see if Broner makes the weight in his challenge for a world title on November 17th against WBC lightweight champion Antonio DeMarco or will Broner just give away a few dollars to still make the fight happen?

Warren said in his column at frankwarren.com “Provided that Rickster [Burns] prevails [in December 15 fight], I have an understanding with Golden Boy [Broner’s promoters] for him to lock horns with white hot U.S hope Adrien Broner in late February or March.”
