With Brook hitting a defensiveness 35-year-old Khan at will in the sixth, the referee chose to stop it, albeit a little prematurely. It didn’t matter, though, because he was hurt in every round. He didn’t have the punch resistance, power, or the conditioning to compete with Brook.

Referee Victor Loughlin stopped the fight at 0:51 of the sixth round. Khan looked shaky and beaten up at the time of the stoppage.

Khan vs. Brook undercard results.

  • Natasha Jonas (11-2-1, 7 KOs) defeated Chris Namus (25-7, 8 KOs) by a second round knockout to capture the vacant WBO female junior middleweight belt. Jonas put Namus on the deck in the first round. Jonas also dropped Namus in the second round before the bout was halted. For the 27-year-old Jonas, this is her second win since losing to Katie Taylor by a 10 round decision last May.
  • 2020 super heavyweight Olympic bronze medalist Frazer Clark (1-0, 1 KOs) won his pro debut with a first round knockout over Jake Darnell (0-1). Clark was way too talented for woefully bad Darnell.
  • Middleweight prospect Bradley Rea (11-0, 5 KOs) destroyed a badly overmatched Craig McCarthy (8-1-1, 2 KOs) by a first round knockout.
  • Unbeaten cruiserweight Viddal Riley (5-0, 2 KOs) put in an admiral performance tonight in winning a six round points decision over the well-trained veteran Willbeforce Shihepo (25-14, 18 KOs). The score was 60-53. The 24-year-old former KSI coach Riley flattened Willbeforce in the first round, but was unable to finish him off and was forced to go the six round distance. Outside of the ring, Riley has a massive Instagram following of 589,000 followers, which is massive for a fighter that hasn’t yet shown the potential to ever climb the ranks to win a world title.
  • In domestic level action, undefeated super middleweight Germaine Browne (12-0, 3 KOs) defeated English 168-lb champion Charlie Schofield (17-2, 1 KOs) by a 10 round unanimous decision. The scores were 98-92, 99-92, and 99-92.
