By Ken Hissner: At the Manchester Arena, Manchester Lancashire, UK, Saturday over ESPN+ Benjamin Shalom (Ultimate Boxxer) presented former WBA & IBF Light Welterweight champion Amir “King” Khan who lost big to former IBF Welterweight champ Kell “The Special One” Brook in the sixth round by technical stoppage in 0:51.

In the Main Event Amir “King” Khan, 34-6 (21), #147.3, of Bolton, Lancashire, UK, was stopped by “The Special One” Kell Brook, 40-3 (28) #148.3, of Sheffield, UK, at 0:51 of the sixth round of a 12.

In the first round, Brook missed a right followed by a left on the chin hurting Khan and almost dropping him. Khan managed to get through the round.

In the second round, it was all Brook with Khan doing little in return. In the third round Khan did well controlling for two minutes then Brook had Khan out on his feet in the final minute. In the fourth round, Khan was doing well in a close round but not enough to win it.

In the fifth round, Khan kept moving trying to avoid right hand punches from Brook who easily won the round. In the sixth round, Brook was determined to finish Kahn off and that is what he did awaiting for this moment since 2004 when Kahn was chosen over him for the Olympics.

Southpaw Natasha Jonas, 11-2-1 (8), #149.5, of Liverpool, Merseyside, UK, stopped former IBF Super Welter Female champ Chris “El Bombon Asesino” Namus, 25-7 (8) #147.5, of Montevidio, Uruguay, at 0:28 of the second round of a 10 for the vacant WBO Super Welterweight World Female title.

In the first round, Jonas slipped a jab landing a left on the chin, and down went Namus for an 8-count from referee Howard Foster just prior to the bell sounding.

In the second round, Jonas landed a flurry of punches ending with a left on the chin of Namus who went down for an 8-count from referee Foster who waved it off to the dismay of Namus.

Super Middleweight British champ Charlie Schofield, 17-2 (1), #168, of Lancashire, UK, lost his title to Germaine “G Man” Brown, 12-0 (3), #168, of Kingston, London, UK, over 10 lopsided rounds.

In the first five rounds, it was all Brown pushing Schofield all over the ring and having him against the ropes for the most part.

In the seventh round, Schofield’s fans started yelling his name as he may have taken his first round.

In the eighth and ninth rounds, Brown continued out landing Schofield. In the tenth and final round, Brown continued battering Schofield who was warned for holding.

Scores were 98-92 twice and 99-92 with this writer 99-91.
Super Lightweight “Assassin” Adam Azim, 3-0 (2), #138 ¼, of Slough, Berkshire, UK, stopped Jordan Ellison, 13-36-2 (1), #138 ¼, of Seaham, UK, @ 2:39 of the third round of a 6.

In the first round, Azim dominated finally landing a right to mid-section of Ellison, and down he went for 8-count from referee Darren Sarginson just prior to the bell.

In the third round, Azim landed a left hook onto the glove held high driving it into the head of Ellison, and down he went with referee Sarginson waving it off immediately.

Azim celebrated with a backflip to the delight of his fans.

Super Welterweight “The Hit Man” Hassan Azim, 2-0 (1), #150, of Slough, Berkshire, UK, defeated southpaw MJ Hall, 2-74-2 (0), #148, of Brierley Hill, West Midlands, UK, over 4 rounds.

In the first three rounds, it was all Azim landing several good right uppercuts against the durable Hall. In the fourth and final round, Azim stayed to the body the entire round.

The score was 40-36. He is the older brother of Adam.

Middleweight Bradley Rea, 12-0 (4) #160 ¼, of Stretford, Lancashire, UK, knocked out southpaw Craig “BTL” McCarthy, 8-1-1 (3), #161 ¼, of Waterford, Ireland, at 1:53 of the first round of an 8.

In the first round, Rea landed several rights and ended it with a left uppercut on the chin with McCarthy taking the count on his back.

Cruiserweight Viddal Riley, 5-0 (2), #199, of London, UK, defeated Willbeforce “Black Mamba” Shiheppo, 25-14 (18), #198 ¼, of Windhoek, Nambia, over 6 rounds.

In the first round Riley controlled and with 45 seconds left in the round, a right uppercut from Riley on the chin of Shiheppo dropped him for an 8-count from referee John Latham.

In the second through the fourth round, it was all Riley with both falling to the canvas just prior to the bell. In the sixth and final round, Riley took all six rounds allowing Shiheppo to go the distance after scoring a first round knockdown.

Referee Latham scored it 60-53 as did this writer.

Heavyweight 2021 Olympian Bronze Medalist “Big Fraze” Frazer Clarke, 1-0 (1), #256, of Burton upon Trent, UK, stopped Jake Darnell, 0-1 (0), #248 ¼, of Blackpool, UK, at 2:06 of the first of a 6.

In the first round in a mismatch, Clarke went to the body and then bloodied the nose of novice Darnell before referee John Latham waved it off as the towel came in from the corner of Darnell. Bad pick of an opponent for the Olympic Bronze Medalist.
