His Excellency Turki Alalshikh, the top boss at the General Entertainment Authority, unveiled a major World title bout. Terence Crawford, a boxing giant, is set to challenge Israil Madrimov for the WBA and WBO interim World Super-Welterweight title on August 3rd. Crawford, undefeated at 40-0 with 31 KOs, is pushing to claim a title in his fourth weight division, moving up to 154lbs after his knockout victory over Errol Spence made him the undisputed welterweight champion.

Israil Madrimov, holding a record of 10-0-1 with 7 KOs, will defend his title for the first time against Crawford, the most formidable opponent he could face. Madrimov seized his title in Riyadh by halting Magomed Kurbanov in five rounds last March, showcasing his prowess after a successful amateur stint.

Crawford stated, “I’m pumped to jump back into the ring at this new weight and show the world I’m the top dog in boxing. Madrimov’s a solid showman, but come August 3, he’s going down. This era belongs to Terence Crawford.”

The event is also stacked with exciting undercard bouts. Isaac Cruz, the new WBA Super-Lightweight champion, will face off against Jose Valenzuela in his first title defense. Heavyweight action includes Andy Ruiz taking on Jarrell Miller. Ruiz steps back into the ring following his victory over Luis Ortiz, while Miller aims to bounce back from his first professional loss last December.

Further down the card, Tim Tszyu is set to fight Vergil Ortiz Jr, depending on the results of Ortiz’s upcoming bout. David Morrell will also defend his undefeated record in a light-heavyweight clash against Radivoje Kalajdzic, and Olympic gold medalist Andy Cruz will continue his professional journey against Antonio Moran.
