Roger Mayweather: I want Floyd Jr. to fight Bradley and Pacquiao in 2013

Image: Roger Mayweather: I want Floyd Jr. to fight Bradley and Pacquiao in 2013By Allan Fox: Roger Mayweather, the trainer and uncle for Floyd Mayweather Jr., says he wants Mayweather Jr. to fight Tim Bradley and Manny Pacquiao if the choice up to him. Obviously it’s not, because the rumors are that Mayweather Jr. will be facing Robert Guerrero next on May 4th, and it’s still unknown who will get the pick for his September 14th fight. My guess is either Miguel Cotto or Saul Alvarez.

Speaking with esnewsreporting.com, Roger said this when asked who he wants Mayweather Jr. to fight next: “Pacquiao and Bradley, both of them getting knocked out. Hopefully those fights will happen.”

News: Roger Mayweather’s net worth $20 million?; Vazquez vs. Quintero on October 27th

Image: News: Roger Mayweather's net worth $20 million?; Vazquez vs. Quintero on October 27thBy Chris Williams: Supposedly Roger Mayweather (59-13, 35 KO’s), the unclear and trainer of Floyd Mayweather Jr., has a net worth of $20 million, according to Celbritynetworth.com. During his boxing career, Roger captured the WBA super featherweight title and the WBC light welterweight belt.

However, I find it hard to believe that he made huge money during his boxing career even though he faced the likes of Julio Cesar Chavez, Livingstone Bramble, Kostya Tszyu, and Vinny Pazienza. I just don’t think Roger was able to accumulate that kind of wealth during his 18-year pro career.

Roger Mayweather doubts that Floyd Sr. can help Victor Ortiz

Image: Roger Mayweather doubts that Floyd Sr. can help Victor OrtizBy Dan Ambrose: Much like Amir Khan, former WBC welterweight champion Victor Ortiz’s boxing career is on the verge of collapse after Ortiz has lost his two fights and looked poor in both of them. In the latest boxing news, Golden Boy Promotions president Oscar De La Hoya has persuaded the 25-year-old Ortiz (29-4-2, 22 KO’s) to be trained by his old trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr., the father of Mayweather Jr.

It sounds good but Roger Mayweather, the brother of Floyd Sr., doesn’t think Ortiz’s career can be saved by Floyd Sr. Roger sees Ortiz as a fatally flawed fighter.
