Image: News: Roger Mayweather's net worth $20 million?; Vazquez vs. Quintero on October 27thBy Chris Williams: Supposedly Roger Mayweather (59-13, 35 KO’s), the unclear and trainer of Floyd Mayweather Jr., has a net worth of $20 million, according to Celbritynetworth.com. During his boxing career, Roger captured the WBA super featherweight title and the WBC light welterweight belt.

However, I find it hard to believe that he made huge money during his boxing career even though he faced the likes of Julio Cesar Chavez, Livingstone Bramble, Kostya Tszyu, and Vinny Pazienza. I just don’t think Roger was able to accumulate that kind of wealth during his 18-year pro career.

If the $20 million figure is correct then Roger must be getting paid awfully well for his training job with his nephew Floyd Mayweather Jr. during all these years. I thought Freddie Roach made big bank training Manny Pacquiao, but if Roger has a net worth of $20 million then he might be the wealthiest boxing trainer on earth right now.

Roger certainly deserves it because he’s done an outstanding job of training Floyd Jr. He’s made him into the best fighter on the planet bar none and he deserves every penny of that $20 million, if that figure is to believes. Roger must be making some seriously good investments in the stock market or some wise real estate investments for him to have that kind of cash. It definitely helps if you don’t spend it or throw it away on gambling or fast living.
