By Sean McDaniel: Rightly or wrongly, WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan (25-1, 17 KO’s) has decided to stay with Primetime PPV and have his next fight against IBF light welterweight champion Zab Judah (41-6, 28 KO’s) be shown with them instead of Sky Sports Box Office. Khan last fight against Paul McCloskey, which was previously set to be shown on Sky PPV, was moved off of PPV when the undercard fell apart after the Tyson Fury vs. Hasim Rahman fight went up in smoke.
Khan-Judah
Khan plans on fighting Judah, Bradley and Prescott in that order
McCloskey: Judah has a good chance of beating Khan
Witter: Judah will beat Khan
By William Mackay: former WBC light welterweight champion Junior Witter sees IBF light welterweight champion Zab Judah (41-6, 28 KO’s) being too much for WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan (25-1, 17 KO’s) in their July 23rd fight at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Witter feels that Judah’s experience and power will be a huge factors for him against the upstart Khan and that will carry him to victory.
Khan vs. McCloskey, Maidana and Prescott
By Paul Luxton: There are so many people out there writing about boxing who clearly don’t know WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan at all. I have been watching Amir for many years now and he has made fools of pretty much every one he has gone up against.
Judah: I’m going to be a 6 time world champion after beating Khan on 7/23
By Scott Gilfoid: IBF light welterweight champion Zab Judah (41-6, 28 KO’s) will be looking for his 6th world title on July 23 against the soft-chinned and much hyped WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan (25-1, 17 KO’s) at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Judah is the much more accomplished and arguably much more talented fighter coming into the bout with the still relatively inexperienced Khan.
What Will The Excuses Be After Khan Wins Again?
By Anthony Starkson: After reading some biased, one-sided articles about Khan from unnamed, talentless writers, I have decided to give my view on the Khan-Judah fight July 23rd at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. In this fight, you have a thoroughbred in Amir Khan, 25(17)-1, who is destined to become boxing next bright star. He was a silver medalist at the 2004 Athens Olympics and had a nice start to his career before getting viciously knocked out in under a minute at the hands of Breidis Presscott.
Khan proves me wrong, signs to fight Judah
By Mark Young: I have to admit it, I did not expect to see Amir Khan signing to fight Zab Judah any time soon, but it seems I’m going to have to eat my words, as both fighters have agreed to face each other in Las Vegas on the 23rd of July. I was adamant that Khan wouldn’t be fighting Judah, I still have niggling doubts that somewhere between now and fight night a spanner will enter the works and stop things happening, but until then, like I said in my last article I’m prepared to admit “I got it totally wrong”.
Judah will have too much power for Khan
By Scott Gilfoid: WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan (25-1, 17 KO’s) really stepped in it this time by choosing IBF light welterweight champion Zab Judah (41-6, 28 KO’s) to fight on July 23 instead of one of the weak guys that Khan has been mostly fighting since being starched in the 1st round by Breidis Prescott three years ago.
Khan vs. Judah is on! Fight to take place in Las Vegas on 7/23 – Breaking News!!
By William Mackay: The unification bout between World Boxing Association (WBA) light welterweight champion Amir Khan (25-1, 17 KO’s) and IBF light welterweight champion Zab Judah (41-6, 28 KO’s) is now a done deal for July 23, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, says Dan Rafael of ESPN. It will be shown on HBO. Judah will receive a 45-55 split of the revenue, which may sound like a great deal given that he’s the much better known fighter in the United States.
