Khan vs. McCloskey, Maidana and Prescott

By Paul Luxton: There are so many people out there writing about boxing who clearly don’t know WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan at all. I have been watching Amir for many years now and he has made fools of pretty much every one he has gone up against.

It’s a fact Khan has been knocked out by Breidis Prescott. Khan almost went down by Marcos Maidana. People really need to get over this it is starting to get boring.

I think Khan’s weakest point is his chin. One day someone probably will beat him again. Every boxer has a punchers chance and it will double with people who are one punch knockout artist. But Khan’s lever of speed and skills he will beat pretty much every one he gets put up against even Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Even his trainer Freddie Roach has stated Khan gets the better of Manny Pacquiao. Its cause Khan is faster but Pac Man can out-power him now. That would be a great fight.

It’s a bit of a bold statement saying he will beat Mayweather. I’m not saying it will be easy but Khan has the tools to do so. I think Khan has some of the fastest hands and greatest brains out there and I think Mayweather will get out-boxed cause of Khan’s speed.

Take a look back at Khan’s fights.

Paul McCloskey: this went just how I thought. McCloskey ducks and weaves all the time so he was all ways going to be harder to hit it might have been stopped a bit early but was there much point going on.

Khan gave him a royal backside whooping in there. Khan was hitting him more and more as the rounds went on.
McCloskey was saying he was waiting for the later rounds wake up. McCloskey was never going to beat him on points; that we can say 100%. So if Maidana can’t knock him out you, have no chance; case closed.

Next, Maidana: great fight. Well deserved best fight of the year.

Maidana needs to stop crying about his loss to Khan. He got beat fair and square. I think Khan could have done better to be honest. I think he let him get far to close and I think he has the stamina to keep him off much better than he did, What Maidana needs to do is stop crying about the ref because of rules Khan’s is his next mandatory fight your get your chance if he stays in the weight long enough. We don’t hear you wanting a rematch with Erik Morales, which was just as close as Khan-Maidana.

I’m going jump a couple coz all we here is about Breidis Prescott yes he got knocked out by him so what,
I think this was a fluke as I said any one has a punches chance I would of like to see khan to go back and fished this bloke off but my reason why he hasn’t is coz he knows his weakest point is Prescott’s strongest and what is the point in fighting him now Khan has moved on to bigger things than bums like him he has nothing to gain and lost to lose.

Prescott needs to man up and fight for your chance you’re a bum end off, you got your chance fighting Khan and took it well done the only reason you keep calling him out is coz of jealousy of him doing better than you and that you’re so full of it. You can’t fight your way to a belt like what Khan has done.

I’m not saying Khan is Khan will never lose again.
I still think Khan is beatable but the only way I think any one of the fighters out there can beat him is by knockout. He proved with Paulie Malignaggi he is the fastest boxer in his class by beating him at his own game and he proved with Andreas Kotelnik he can out box a boxer.

What Khan should do is beat Judah by out-boxing him with speed and skills then do what David Haye has done by calling out the best.

Timothy Bradley looks like a complete fool for not taking the fight. Khan needs to fight Maidana and Prescott again and then show the likes of Mayweather how it is done.

My fight prediction for Khan vs. Judah is a win for Khan. Even though Zab has a lot more experience and has excellent all round abilities, Khan is too quick and skillful. Khan will beat him on points both fighters have a puncher’s chance of a knockout but Khan will win by points.
