By John F. McKenna (McJack): In words reminiscent of David Haye before his July 2 fight with Vladimir Kltischko, Russian heavyweight Denis Boystov has called the Klitschko brothers old men and dinosaurs. In an interview with Championat.com Boystov was highly critical of Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko.
Adamek-Klitschko
Wladimir will be next for Adamek if he gets by Vitali in September
By Dan Ambrose: In a scenario that has pretty much no chance of ever happening in this lifetime, heavyweight contender Tomasz Adamek (44-1, 28 KO’s) will have to fight IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (56-3, 49 KO’s) in a unification bout if Adamek is able to defeat Wladimir’s brother World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (42-2, 39 KO’s) in their scheduled fight on September 10th in Poland.
Adamek vs. Klitschko: Tomasz has to fight like a wild animal to win
By Dan Ambrose: The September 10th fight between WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko and challenger Tomasz Adamek looks to be one of the worst mismatches in recent years. Adamek is seriously too small and slow to be any kind of threat to Vitali. To be sure, I’ve seen Vitali steam roll over other overmatched opponents like Alberto Sosnowski, Kevin Johnson, Chris Arreola, Shannon Briggs, Odlanier Solis and Juan Carlos Gomez during the last two years, but those guys could at least punch at little.
Adamek vs. Klitschko: Vitali will likely have to chase Tomasz down to get the KO
By Dan Ambrose: It’s interesting to hear boxing fans of Tomasz Admaek (44-1, 28 KO’s) say that he won’t fight like WBA heavyweight champion David Haye did in disgracing himself in a one-sided 12 round decision loss to IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko last week.
Will Tomasz Adamek derail Vitali Klitschko?
By John F. McKenna (McJack): With former WBA heavyweight champion David Haye out of the way and the Klitschko brothers in possession of all the title belts is their any fighter out there who poses a real threat to either of the Klitschko brothers?
Vitali: Adamek is stronger than David Haye
By William Mackay: WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (42-2, 39 KO’s) isn’t one of the admirers of WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (25-1, 23 KO’s). In a recent press conference to promote his September 10th fight against challenger Tomasz Adamek (44-1, 28 KO’s) at the Stadion Miejski, Wroclaw, Poland, Vitali pointed out that he thinks that Adamek is stronger than Haye.
Adamek says he will use speed to beat Klitschko
By John F. McKenna (McJack): Now that the venue for the September 10 showdown between 6’7 Vitali Klitschko (44-2, 39 KO’s) and Tomasz Adamek ( 44-1, 28 KO’s) has been determined, Adamek says that he will rely on his speed to defeat Dr. Ironfist. The fight will take place in Adamek’s homeland in the football stadium at Wroclaw, Poland.
Vitali to be huge step up for Adamek on Sep 10th
By William Mackay: Heavyweight Tomas Adamek (44-1, 28 KO’s) has captured titles in the light heavyweight and cruiserweight divisions. Since moving up to the heavyweight division in 2009, Adamek has been very selective about the kinds of opponents he’s faced.
Adamek – Does he have a chance against Vitali?
By John F. McKenna (McJack): When Tomasz Adamek (44-1, 28 KO’s) fights Vitali Klitschko (44-2, 39 KO’s) in September does he have a real chance of beating him? That is the question boxing fans are asking after Adamek defeated the huge and lumbering Kevin McBride last weekend at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.
Vitali Klitschko faces Tomasz Adamek on September 10th in Poland
By Dan Ambrose: In what promises to be a huge mismatch up epic proportions, WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (42-2, 39 KO’s) will be facing number #1 WBC contender Tomasz Adamek (44-1, 28 KO’s) on September 10th at a still to be determined venue in Adamek’s native country of Poland. If you look at the two fighters’ records you might think this will be a competitive fight and think that Adamek has a real chance to win.
