By John F. McKenna (McJack): I have always believed that size is not the reason World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight champ Vitali Klitschk (43-2, 40 KO’s) is so dominant. Adamek-Klitschko
Adamek says he’ll end his career as a heavyweight, refuses to move down to cruiserweight
By Dan Ambrose: Former two division world champion Tomasz Adamek (44-2, 28 KO’s) was badly beaten in a one-sided 10th round TKO defeat to WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko earlier this month on September 10th in a loss that pretty much showed that Adamek didn’t have the size or the ability to compete against the much bigger 6’7″ Vitali.
Klitschko trained for speed
By John F. McKenna (McJack): It is well known that World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (42-2, 39 K0’s) takes no opponent lightly. Apparently “Dr. Ironfist” is taking former light heavyweight and cruiserweight champion Tomasz Adamek (44-1, 28 KO’s) very seriously. Klitschko weighed in today at 242.9 pounds, the lightest he has come in for any fight since he came back from injuries to dethrone WBC champion Sam Peter in 2008.
Will Adamek’s lack of competition hurt him?
Adamek one week away from Vitali money fight
By Dan Ambrose: Tomasz Adamek’s moment of truth with WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko is only one week away now.
Adamek: I know how to beat Vitali
Should Adamek retire after Vitali beats him?
By Dan Ambrose: Former two division world champion Tomasz Adamek (44-1, 28 KO’s) has been working for the past two years beating older heavyweights like 42-year-old Andre Golota, 38-year-old Kevin McBride and 38-year-old Michael Grant (to name just a few) in order to get his title shot against WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (42-2, 39 KO’s).
