Froch’s poor defense will get him knocked out by Abraham

By Scott Gilfoid: I know former WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch (26-1, 20 KO’s) thinks it’s impossible for him to get knocked out, but I think he’s going to be getting a good dose of reality when Armenian Arthur Abraham (31-1, 25 KO’s) knocks him clean out on November 27th in their stage 3 Super Six tournament bout at the Hartwell Arena, in Helsinki, Finland.

Is Arthur Abraham really going to dominate Carl Froch?

By Mark Hepplestall: The majority of articles wrote about Carl Froch are very negative on this site and must be a propaganda target for writers turning the boxing world’s audience against the former world champion for having three close matches that could have gone either way in his last three fights. This article is breaking away from the continuing “Anti-Froch” trend and actually looking at both fighters physical and mental attributes from a neutral view.

Prediction: Froch to get knocked out by Abraham

By Scott Gilfoid: In the European stage 3 Super Six bout between Arthur Abraham (31-1, 25 KO’s) and Carl Froch (26-1, 20 KO’s) in the Super Six tournament, we have to two slow, plodding sluggers facing off in what could be a hard to watch fight unless Abraham gets busy and actually throws some punches early in the fight. Abraham usually has a problem with being lazy and not letting his hands go until late in the fight. It’s like he conserves energy until the last few rounds of the fight, at which point he goes wild trying to score a knockout. It usually works for Abraham until he met up with American Andre Dirrell, who schooled Abraham for the entire fight until Abraham blew gasket in the 11th round and fouled the defenseless Dirrell after he had slipped and fallen on the canvas in the 11th.

Froch: “Most people thought I beat Kessler”

Image: Froch: "Most people thought I beat Kessler"By Scott Gilfoid: Former World Boxing Council (WBC) super middleweight champion Carl Froch (26-1, 20 KO’s) has a very important bout coming up on November 27th against Arthur Abraham (31-1, 25 KO’s) in the stage 3 part of the Super Six tournament, at the Hartwall Arena, Helsinki, Finland. Froch, 33, is still nursing a hurt back, which caused him to postpone his October 2nd bout with Abraham until November 27th. Abraham is pretty much fed up with Froch, and sees him carrying around mental baggage from his earlier loss to Mikkel Kessler in April of this year.

Froch says he has a bad chest cold, along with his back problem

Image: Froch says he has a bad chest cold, along with his back problemBy Scott Gilfoid: In his latest column at thisisnottingham.co.uk, former WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch (26-1, 20 KO’s) revealed that he’s come down with a bad chest cold, along his back problem he’s been having for the past couple of weeks. With all the ailments that Froch is suffering all of a sudden, you have to wonder if these are going to be pulled out of his hat should he get spanked Arthur Abraham (31-1, 25 KO’s) in their stage 3 Super Six tournament fight on November 27th, in Helsinki, Finland. Froch sure has enough time for his cold and back problem to get better. I don’t know what to think if they’re still their plaguing him in some shape or form two months from now. But I like how he mentions them in his article.

Dirrell vs. Ward & Abraham vs. Froch to take place on November 27th

Image: Dirrell vs. Ward & Abraham vs. Froch to take place on November 27thBy Scott Gilfoid: The Super Six semifinal match-ups between Andre Ward vs. Andre Dirrell, and Carl Froch vs. Arthur Abraham will be taking place on November 27th, according to boxing news from ESPN. It appears that Dirrell and Ward’s management teams have gotten beyond their impasse and found a neutral location for their Super Six tournament fight. One great benefit of both fights taking place on the same night is that they will be shown as a “split continent doubleheader,” meaning that boxing fans will be able to see the bouts back to back without waiting for later in the day.

Has Abraham just thrown away his chances of winning the Super Six?

Image: Has Abraham just thrown away his chances of winning the Super Six?By Mark Hepplestall: I have been the biggest critic of the Super Six Tournament; I don’t think it’s been set out fairly and most of it is Showtime’s fault, I think they should have set out the fight venues before the boxers signed contracts and most importantly gave the boxers no wiggle room to change venues. So how has Arthur Abraham thrown away his chances of winning, I think he has walked straight into a trap.
