This will be the second tune-up fight for the 30-year-old Pavlik, who is trying to get the cobwebs out of his system after having fought only once in 2010 and 2011 due to personal problems and injuries.

Pavlik, 30, will be fighting the 25-year-old Sigmon in a 10 round bout at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is the same kind of mismatch as Pavlik’s last fight against Aaron Jaco which ended with Pavlik stopping Jaco in the 2nd round on March 31.
