By Dan Ambrose: Kelly Pavlik hopes to erase doubt about him when he finally renews his career on Saturday night against little known opponent Aaron Jaco (15-2, 5 KO’s) in a 10 round bout in San Antonio, Texas. Pavlik hasn’t impressed him ages and has looked like a shadow of his former self in struggling against Sergio Martinez to a 12 round decision loss in 2010 and then barely getting by fringe contender Alfonso Lopez last year in May in a fight that Pavlik should have easily won.

Pavlik in important fight against Jaco on Saturday
By Allan Fox: Kelly Pavlik (37-2, 32 KO’s) is in a very important fight on Saturday night against Aaron Jaco (15-2, 5 KO’s) in a 10 round bout at the Illusions Theater, in San Antonio, Texas. Although it may seem like a real nothing fight to a lot of boxing fans, it’s a crucial fight for the 29-year-old Pavlik because he can no longer afford to lose at this point in his career.

Pavlik-Jaco in tune-up fight for Kelly on March 31st
By Eric Thomas: On March 31st, former WBC/WBO middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik (37-2, 32 KO’s) fights for the first time since winning a narrow decision 10 round majority decision over Alfonso Lopez when he steps in the ring to fight Aaron Jaco (15-2, 5 KO’s) in a 10 round bout at the Illusions Theater, San Antonio, Texas, United States. Things are different now for 29-year-old Pavlik, as he’s no longer with his long time trainer and is living and fighting in California with new trainer Robert Garcia.
Pavlik says he was weight drained for Sergio Martinez loss: Does anyone believe this?
By Allan Fox: Former WBC/WBO middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik is still talking about his loss to Sergio Martinez in April 2010, a fight in which Pavlik took a beating in losing his two titles by the scores of 116-111, 115-112 and 115-111 to the stronger, faster and better boxer in Martinez. Pavlik is now saying he lost the fight because he came into training camp weighing 195 pounds of pure muscle and it took too much out of his body to take off all that muscle, according to an interview at examiner.com.
Pavlik could fight on Pacquiao-Bradley undercard if he beats Jaco on 3/31
By Dan Ambrose: Kelly Pavlik (37-2, 32 KO’s) is in a good position to land a fight on the Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley undercard on June 9th if the 29-year-old Pavlik can get by his next opponent Aaron Jaco (15-2, 5 KO’s) on March 31st at the Illusions Theater, San Antonio, Texas, United States. It’s a given that Pavlik will beat that guy, because he’s way out Pavlik’s league and it’s little more than a 10 round tune-up bout for the ring rusty Pavlik.

By Dan Ambrose: According to Steve Kim, former WBC/WBO middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik (37-2, 32 KO’s) could be facing little known 34-year-old light heavyweight Aaron Jaco (15-2, 5 KO’s) in his next fight on March 31st possibly in San Antonio, Texas. Pavlik, 29, had been mentioned as fighting on the undercard of the Brandon Rios vs. Yuriorkis Gamboa fight on April 14th against a fighter named Scott Sigmon. However, that’s not going to happen.
Pavlik back in the ring on March 31st in San Antonio against TBA
by Jim Dower: Former WBC/WBO middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik (37-2, 32 KO’s) will be getting back in action on March 31st in San Antonio, Texas against an opponent still to be determined. Pavlik, 29, needs to win this fight and perhaps one more tune-up in order to get a fight against WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. It’s a big IF as far as the Chavez Jr. fight does, however, because Chavez Jr. may end up facing Sergio Martinez in September according to Chavez Sr’s twitter messages to Martinez.
Pavlik won’t be fighting Sigmon; could be fighting on March 17th
By Dan Ambrose: Former WBC/WBO middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik shot down the idea of fighting little known fighter Scott Sigmon on April 14th, according to Vindy.com. Instead, Pavlik hopes to be fighting again on March 17th against an opponent to be named later. Hopefully, Pavlik fights someone better known than Sigmon because I never heard of that fighter before and isn’t that impressive.
