By William Mackay: World Boxing Association (WBA) light welterweight champion Amir Khan (24-1, 17 KO’s) recently added welterweight Junior Witter to the list of potential opponents he wants to fight on April 16th in the UK. Since Khan is now adding welterweights to his list, then he should have no problems facing #1 WBO welterweight contender Kell Brook (23-0, 16 KO’s), who is more than willing to take on Khan for this date. Brook doesn’t have a fight scheduled right now and is interested in fighting Khan for his next fight.

Fights that really must happen in 2011 – The ultimate card: Maidana-Brook, Haye-Klitschko, Froch-Ward, Pacquiao-Mayweather
Wladimir Klitschko vs David Haye
This fight for me would be the main event of the card. It’s the fight everyone wants in the division that needs it the most. In sport, you judge it by its top division and for boxing, that is the Heavyweight division. David Haye has been calling out the Klitschko brothers since knocking out Enzo Maccarinelli in 2008, doing anything to get their attention.
Kell Brook still interested in Khan bout, says it will take only one good shot to win

A couple of days ago Khan said that he had spoke to Brook over the phone and that he supposedly was in agreement that they shouldn’t fight now. But it sure doesn’t sound like Brook ever had that conversation, as this is what Brook had to say about Khan today in a press release:
