The positive result came up from the sample A.

However, the second sample hasn’t come in yet and expected that it won’t be in until after the fight. Angel Garcia, the father of Danny Garcia, is threatening to have Garcia pull out of the fight if the second sample comes up positive.

Morales said this to RingTV “We’re still waiting for the result, but I’m not worried, at all. I know what’s going on. The fight is going to happen. I’m not worried about anything. I am clean. I don’t have anything illegal.”

According to Morales, the drug Clenbuterol is widely used in Mexico to “Fatten cows’, and he thinks he ingested some contaminated food.

It would be a real pity if the fight is wiped out because of some contaminated food that Morales ingested. And the sad part about is that boxing fans would likely believe that Morales was guilty despite his long career of testing clean during drug tests.

It could be the that testing done by the USADA is better than the testing that was done in the past, because it seems like a lot of fighters are suddenly getting popped for drugs left and right and many of them are denying having used anything.

It would be bad for the sport if one of the testing agencies are giving false positives and messing up a lot of exciting fights. It makes you kind of skeptical as a fan about the testing when fighters like Morales are being found positive despite having a squeaky clean reputation.

Garcia would be shooting himself in the foot if he were to decide not to fight Morales if the second sample came up positive. Boxing fans want to see this fight and he’ll only be hurting himself by not taking the fight.
