A fight between Wladimir and Fury or Chisora would be huge in England, especially if Fury emerges as the winner of that fight. Fury is 6’9″ and it would bring up an interesting match up between him and the 6’6″ Wladimir. Both Fury and Wladimir are trained by Emanuel Steward and it would be exciting fight while it lasted. Fury is clearly much less experienced than Wladimir, but he couldn’t do any worse than Haye did in his inept performance last Saturday night. At least Fury wouldn’t flopping around the canvas left and right blaming his loss on his broken little toe.

This is what Wladimir had to say about his next fight on espn.co.uk: “There is another fight between Dereck Chisora and Tyson Fury, two other British fighters. I think this could be interesting for me. As for David Haye’s next move, I don’t care about David Haye.”

There it is. It looks like Haye is going to have to work his way back and try to beat some quality young fighters and make boxing fans forget his pathetic performance against Wladimir. It won’t be easy to do because one fight won’t erase the stain of Haye’s dreadful flopping, non-action fight against Wladimir. Haye will have to beat at least two or three really good fighters and not look like a rank amateur in doing so. I don’t know that Haye can beat really good fighters after what I saw of him last night. You put Haye in with some skilled Russian fighters like Alexander Povekin, Denis Boytsov of Ruslan Chagaev and I think Haye will have some big problems, especially if they can take his occasional shots.
