By Klaas Mabetlela: The figures of $80m guaranteed are being bandied around for the forthcoming megafight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. They will make even more when after the fight when all the revenues have been counted simply because the fight is going to generate record revenues. Why?
Mayweather vs. Pacquiao
Mayweather-Pacquiao: This Is Floyd’s Only Chance To Prove His Doubters Wrong
By Peter Wells: With the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight set for next year, this fight may mean a hell of a lot more to Mayweather than he realises. Mayweather has plenty of doubters on this website and off this website; he has been called a cherry picker and so on. If Mayweather loses this fight, then for most people his legacy will go down the drain, winning may be the most important thing in his boxing career. A win would prove to everyone he really is a great fighter, and all his other fights weren’t just cherry picking old fighters.
Mayweather vs Pacquiao: Dallas With Largest Offer Ever – Back in the Venue Running
By Frank Car: Jerry Jones, the owner of the 1.2 billion dollar Dallas Cowboys Stadium is apparently not ready to lie down just yet, if he ever was. Recently it was reported that Dallas was out of running to host the Mega-Fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao because Mayweather interests basically didn’t want it outside Vegas. Well money talks, and either Vegas or Dallas walks.
Who will leave the leave the greater legacy behind- Mayweather or Pacquiao
by Liam Fitzgerald: Legacy is a term that often comes up in boxing circles. To some boxers it means everything whilst others are not too bothered about how their achievements in the ring are viewed by others. As Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr look set to meet on March 13th for the fight everybody wants to see, I thought I would look into who would leave the greater legacy behind after the fight. There’s no doubt these two are the best out there at the moment and for the last few years, so it seems logical to compare the two.
Paulie Malignaggi and the Pacquiao Steroids Nonsense
By Steve Lewis: Junior welterweight contender Paulie Malignaggi, who has an upcoming rematch against Juan “Baby Bull” Diaz this coming Saturday in Chicago, IL, has made some noise again all over the internet over his “speculation” and “opinion” that WBO Welterweight Champion Manny Pacquiao is under the influence of performance enhancing drugs, despite numerous reports that Pacquiao had tested negative after his Nov. 14 bout with Miguel Cotto.
Khan could fight on Mayweather-Pacquiao undercard – News
By Jason Kim: Trainer Freddie Roach is interested in having his fighter World Boxing Association light welterweight champion Amir Khan fight on the March 13th undercard of the huge mega bout between Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao, according to The Mirror/ This is great news if Khan can somehow get put on that card, because the fight will be shown world wide and it would give Khan a lot of visibility if his fight winds up on television. Roach says “I would love for Amir to fight on the undercard of Manny’s next fight. Amir would be ready for March, no problem, for another world title defense.”
Mayweather-Pacquiao has the whole world talking
By Peter Wells: After only just over a week since this fight was in the making, already I have heard so many people talking about this fight. It makes me even more excited when people predict what will happen, and the more you think about it, the quicker you want it to come. This fight isn’t just for us boxing fans; it’s for the whole world to enjoy. I know for a fact that David Haye got everyone in Britain talking, so this will get everyone talking. This may not turn out to be a cracker of a fight, but the publicity just makes it a fight you can’t miss, and the build up will be three times bigger than the build up for De La Hoya-Mayweather.

Mayweather-Pacquiao…Continued (Part 2)
By Fred-Lloyd Brunzki: Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. is finally on with some minor details to be ironed out like the weight class, size of gloves, and fight venue. It looks like the purse issue has already been settled and there seems to be no problem with the ‘minor details’ because according to Pacquiao’s promoter, Bob Arum, “Money talks!” Who needs who in this fight? Judging from the present situation, it appears that Mayweather needs this fight more than Pacquiao does. The Pacman is the undisputed P4P king, World Boxing Organization welterweight champion and the only boxer to capture 7 world titles in 7 weight divisions!
