Roach wants Bradley as sparring partner for Pacquiao: Is Freddie overdoing it a little?

By Manuel Perez: Philboxing is reporting that Freddie Roach is looking to get Timothy Bradley as one of Manny Pacquiao’s sparring partners to help prepare for the fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. I think Roach is starting to go overboard now with his ideas for Pacquiao. If they use Bradley as sparring partner for Pacquiao, they’ll probably have to take Manny out for the fight in a gurney with an IV bag connected to him, because there won’t be much left for him to fight Mayweather. I wonder what Pacquiao is thinking about all this?

Mayweather has had plenty of criticism despite nobody beating him in his 40 fights, so you can’t criticize a fighter who hasn’t had a fault in his career so far. Berry: I’ve watched and studied all 40 of the Floyd Mayweather Jr. fights and I have realized something; Floyd Mayweather Jr. can’t win. I know some of you are thinking,” he’s so right! The Unappreciated Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. The haters

mayweather455243By D. Berry: I’ve been reading Pacquiao/Mayweather Jr articles on this site for a few months now and there is one thing I have noticed; people watch boxing but don’t understand it. So when I see people say that Floyd Mayweather Jr has boring fights, I laugh because they don’t have an idea what “boxing” is. Mayweather is one of, if not the best “boxers” I’ve ever seen in my life. The way he breaks his opponents down is really something to see. If you can’t understand Floyd’s style, its because you’re into checkers and fans of the sport like me, are into chess.

Boxing vs. Bloggers and Message Posters

By D. Thomason: I have given a lot of thought to the pending bout between pound 4 pound greats Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao and what stands out to me the most about the fight is how the biggest action might be taking place over message boards and blogs. It is no surprise that boxing is probably the most subjective of all sports as it pertains to deciding who the “best” is and this fight is no different.
