chisora434By Scott Gilfoid: For American boxing fans interested in seeing the November 29th rematch between British heavyweights Tyson Fury (22-0, 16 KOs) and Dereck Chisora (20-4, 13 KOs), they can see the fight on ESPN3.com in the United States.

It’s unclear just how much interest there would be in a fight between Chisora and Fury for casual boxing fans in the U.S, but I’m sure hardcore fans might want to see the fight just for the sake of finding out which of these two guys will

Fury: I’ll give Chisora the biggest war he’s ever had

fury6By Scott Gilfoid: #4 WBO, #5 IBF, #11 WBC heavyweight contender Tyson Fury (22-0, 16 KOs) is promising that his rematch against Dereck Chisora (20-4, 13 KOs) on November 29th will be a war when the two of them meet up at the ExCel Arena in London, UK.

The Chisora-Fury 2 fight will be a WBO heavyweight eliminator bout despite the fact that neither guy has beaten anyone of note during their careers. Fury’s biggest win of his 6-year pro career was against a 260 pound Chisora, which isn’t much of a win given how out of shape Chisora was for the fight.

Tyson Fury: I challenge Anthony Joshua after I smash Chisora

fury1111By Scott Gilfoid: Unbeaten #4 WBO, #5 IBF, #11 WBC heavyweight contender Tyson Fury (22-0, 16 KOs) is targeting unbeaten heavyweight prospect Anthony Joshua (9-0, 9 KOs) for a fight after Fury takes care of business against Dereck Chisora (20-4, 13 KOs) on November 29th at the ExCel Arena in London, UK.

Fury obviously has heard Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn opening his yap about how he thinks Joshua will be ready to beat Fury by next year, and Fury looks like he wants to take Hearn on his word by pushing for the fight.

Fury places tape over mouth for Chisora press conference

fury6By Scott Gilfoid: In what has to be seen as a protest against the British Boxing Board of Control for their stiff £15,000 fine handed out to Tyson Fury (22-0, 16 KOs) for the trash talking he did in the past in another press conference with Chisora, Fury decided to tape his mouth and not speak for today’s press conference.

It was kind of a senseless move on Fury’s part because by not speaking, he’s shooting himself in the foot by not helping to get boxing fans interested in his November 22nd rematch with Chisora at the ExCel Arena in London, UK.

Dereck Chisora vs. Tyson Fury moved to November 29th at Excel Arena, London, UK

fury9999By Scott Gilfoid: The Dereck Chisora (20-4, 13 KOs) vs. Tyson Fury (22-0, 16 KOs) rematch has been moved from November 22nd to November 29th at the Excel Arena in London, UK, according to Dan Rafael. The fight will still be a WBO heavyweight eliminator bout with the winner to become the WBO mandatory challenger to IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko.

Chisora and Fury were supposed to have faced each other during the summer, but Chisora suffered a hand injury, causing him to have to pull out of the fight the week of the actual bout. Fury attempted to fight anyway against an in shape Alexander Ustinov, but then Fury pulled out of the fight due to his uncle Hughie having an emergency medical problem.

Gavern thinks Tyson Fury will be next heavyweight champion

fury5667By Scott Gilfoid: Jason Gavern, who was recently blown out by unbeaten heavyweight knockout artist Deontay Wilder in 4 rounds this month on August 16th, thinks that #4 WBO Tyson Fury (22-0, 16 KOs) will be the next heavyweight champion, not Deontay. Gavern says he was in training camp with the 6’9” Fury and he came away impressed by that experience.

Gavern doesn’t say who Fury will beat to become a world champion. I mean, if he’s the next heavyweight champion and he’s fighting in a WBO heavyweight eliminator bout on November 22nd to become the WBO mandatory challenger, then Gavern has got to be talking about Fury beating IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko to become a world champion.

Wilder: I’ll definitely be fighting Tyson Fury next year

wilder56By Scott Gilfoid: American heavyweight talent Deontay Wilder (31-0, 31 KOs) foresees himself meeting up with British heavyweight Tyson Fury (22-0, 16 KOs) next year in a fight that Wilder believes will be a huge fight that would make promoters unnecessary.

Presumably, Wilder believes that Fury will win his next fight against Dereck Chisora on November 22nd, and then beat IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko after that. The Fury-Chisora fight is a WBO heavyweight eliminator bout with the winner becoming Wladimir’s WBO mandatory challenger.

Fury: Chisora is going to get a beating twice as bad for pulling out last time

fury78By Scott Gilfoid: Earlier today it was announced that the WBO heavyweight eliminator bout between Dereck Chisora and Tyson Fury, which was supposed to have taken place last month, has been rescheduled for November 22nd in London, UK.

Chisora pulled out of the fight last time complaining of a hand injury. Fury still doesn’t buy the excuse, and feels that Chisora got a case of cold feet. At any rate, Fury wants to make Chisora pay for pulling out when he gets him in the ring on 11/22.

Chisora vs. Fury rescheduled for November 22nd at ExCel in London, UK

fury43By Scott Gilfoid: British heavyweights Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora will be facing each other on November 22nd in a WBO heavyweight title eliminator at the ExCel Arena in London, UK.

They were supposed to face each other last month but the fight had to be postponed due to Chisora suffering a thumb injury while sparring mammoth 6’7”, 280+ pound Belarusian heavyweight Alexander Ustinov to get ready for the Fury fight.

Fury then attempted to go ahead with the card by scheduling to fight Ustinov, but then he pulled out of the card the day of the fight due to a family emergency.

Fury and Chisora will be fighting for the European as well as the vacant British heavyweight straps in addition to the bout being a WBO heavyweight eliminator.
