Fury: No other heavyweight could box Chisora like that

fury55By Scott Gilfoid: Tyson Fury (23-0, 17 KOs) feels that no other heavyweight in the division could have out-boxed the over-matched Dereck Chisora (20-5, 13 KOs) the way that he did last night in stopping him in the 10th round. Fury pretty much pitched a shutout in making Chisora look really bad before his trainer opted to pull the plug on the fight after the 10th.

It was a case of Chisora being too short, too limited and perhaps too over-trained last night. I’m not sure that Fury did anything special in out-boxing Chisora last night, because as awful as Chisora looked in that fight, I think a good many heavyweights in the division would have done the same thing to him.

Tyson Fury: Wladimir, I’m coming for you, baby!

fury777By Scott Gilfoid: Tyson Fury (23-0, 17 KOs) earned the right to face IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko last night in beating an over-matched plodding Dereck Chisora (20-5, 13 KOs) by a 10th round TKO in their WBO heavyweight eliminator at the ExCel Arena in London, UK.

Fury, 6’9”, made it a point to call out the 38-year-old Wladimir after the fight, as if something like that were needed for him to validate himself as a future challenger.

Fury stops Chisora in 10th; Saunders defeats Eubank Jr

fury6By Scott Gilfoid: In a totally one-sided fight, #4 WBO Tyson Fury (23-0, 17 KOs) stopped #1 WBO Dereck Chisora (20-5, 13 KOs) in a 10th round stoppage on Saturday night in their WBO heavyweight eliminator bout at the ExCel Arena in London, UK.

The fight was halted by Chisora’s corner after the 10th round due to the one-sided nature of the fight. Chisora was bleeding under his right eye and from his nose. The fight was horribly one-sided, and even more one-sided than their first fight in 2011. Chisora was just too slow, too weak and too limited to give Fury any kind of fight.

Chisora vs Fury: The Calm Before The Storm

chisora5645by Owen Hammond: The waiting is almost over for the highly anticipated Bad Blood event tonight at London’s ExCel arena. I have recently previewed the chief support fight, Saunders vs Eubank Jr, and I now turn my attention towards the main event which sees Tyson Fury (22-0-0, 16 KOs) challenge Dereck Chisora (20-4-0, 13 KOs) for Del Boy’s EBU Heavyweight title. The fight is also for the vacant British Heavyweight belt, but perhaps more importantly doubles up as an eliminator for the WBO Heavyweight title currently heald by the machine that is Wladimir Klitschko.

Fury vs Chisora & Saunders vs Eubank Jr. Bad Blood Preview & Predictions

fury4by Ciaran McKInney: This coming Saturday, after what seems like an endless stream of press conferences, retirement threats and pre-fight antics, the boxing world will watch ‘Bad Blood’. The card will be headlined by the rematch of Tyson Fury vs Dereck Chisora. This domestic level bout will see the british and European straps up for grabs, however, the real prize of this bout, is the mandatory position for a fight with Wladimir Klitschko some time in 2015. This fight could potentially be a fight of the year candidate in the heavyweight division. It has all the ingredients, two hungry combatants, big punchers and a grudge that has played out over the course of the past 4 years.
