By Scott Gilfoid: Former super middleweight world champion Joe Calzaghe is giving Carl Froch (28-2, 20 KO’s) a good chance of beating IBF super middleweight champion Lucian Bute (30-0, 24 KO’s) on May 26th in their fight in Nottingham due to the huge pro-Froch crowd that is expected to turn out for the fight.
Calzaghe sees Khan easily beating Peterson
By William Mackay: Former super middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe is picking Amir Khan to easily beat IBF/WBA light welterweight champion Lamont Peterson in their rematch on May 19th. Calzaghe doesn’t think Peterson did enough to win that fight, but he also believes that Peterson can’t fight any better than that in the rematch.

By Scott Gilfoid: 46-year-old Bernard Hopkins thinks that he’s what drove former super middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe to retirement in 2008 after giving Calzaghe all he could handle in a 12 round split decision loss for Hopkins in April 2008. A lot of boxing fans, including myself, saw Hopkins winning the fight based on his much cleaner shots.
