By William Mackay: WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan (24-1, 17 KO’s) says he sees himself fighting Floyd Mayweather Jr. (41-0, 25 KO’s) in 12 months. Khan feels that he’ll be ready to take on Mayweather at that point in his career. However, I don’t see Khan as being ready for a fight against Mayweather, not now and not in a year from now.

Roach says Pacquiao can’t afford to lose with Mayweather fight still a possibility
By Dave Lahr: Trainer Freddie Roach made a startling confession recently in an interview about his fighter Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. In an interview at 8countnews.com, Roach said “There’s no room for a loss right now. Mayweather’s still out there. People still want to see that fight. That’s the fight I want to see.” So are we to interpret this as meaning that Pacquiao won’t be put in a position where he can lose by being put in with someone that could actually beat him like WBC middleweight champion Sergio Martinez, Paul Williams, Juan Manuel Marquez or Andre Berto? Is Pacquiao being fed stiffs until Mayweather appears for the big cash out fight?
Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao: Detailed Reasoning For Not Fighting
By Jose Mendoza: Now I’ve read a lot of articles and reasons why all the fight fans think that the Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight has not happened yet and to be straight forward I find it very irritating. It shows me that there are real boxing fans and there are people who just look at boxing which is a very big difference. So I’m going to very detailed give you my opinion on why the fight has not happen and the only way it will happen. Since Pacquiao’s destruction of Oscar De La Hoya on December 6, 2008 his name has become the most popular in the sport of boxing and that’s something we can’t argue about not one bit.
Why does Floyd Mayweather Sr. insist that his son avoid Pacquiao?
Does Floyd Mayweather really have an Incentive to fight Pacquiao?
By Daniel Echevarria: Ok, I have thought about it like everyone else about why Mayweather won’t fight Manny Pacquiao and I believe this may be it. Think about it fight fans get rid of your own personal feelings about both fighters and put your emotional feelings on pause for the moment. Now if you are a fan of HBO 24/7 and you look at things critically and use your eyes to see pass the hype and trash talk and ego at the end of the day Floyd Mayweather is a very family oriented person.
If the Mosley-Pacquiao fight is close, then Mayweather-Pacquiao likely never happens!
By Allen Hmiel: Boxing fans will be greatly disappointed if the Mosley performance against Manny is better than expected and the fight results are closer than thought. Why? Because if Mosley gives the smaller Pacquiao a great tussle and comes close to toppling the little man and the score cards are close, then Mosley comes away with a moral victory. By Mosley proving he is equal or at least competitive against Manny he shows the boxing world that Mayweather is just a superior fighter and so far much better than either Mosley or Manny Pacquiao that Floyd would obviously destroy Pacquiao also.
Do you think Floyd Mayweather Jr’s comeback is a mistake?
By Frank Livingstone: Anyone who knows something about boxing knows Floyd Mayweather Jr. An Olympic Bronze medallist, five division world champion, undefeated and some still claimed as the number 1 pound for pound in the world today.
Did Mosley flat out give up against Floyd Mayweather in their Fight?
By Allen Hmiel: This has bothered me for some time and I am sure it has bothered boxing fans who know the sport well and follow it closely. I got the distinct impression after watching Mosley-Mayweather for twelve rounds it seemed Mosley just was content to last the fight out and survive standing upright! Outside of the big punch landed by Shane in round two against Mayweather that staggered boxing greatest fighter, Mosley did nothing the rest of the fight. Nothing.
It’s going to be great when Mayweather comes back and wipes out this Pacquiao hype
By Dave Lahr: I am really looking forward to Floyd Mayweather Jr. (41-0 25 KO’s) getting his legal problems taken care of in 2011 and coming back to wipe out Manny Pacquiao, and exposing him in the process.
