Pascal will be facing the best light-heavyweight alive this Fall, Chad Dawson. If Pascal somehow overcomes the odds and beats Dawson, that will only make Froch’s victory look that much more spectacular in hindsight.

I will make him wilt under the punches that I’ll rain down on him.” Oh brother. This I got to see. I hate to break this to Froch, but Dirrell is a bigger puncher than Froch. He’s also taller. God, I hope Froch makes it to the semi finals so Dirrell can take care of his unfinished business with Froch.

Froch, 33, after weeks of haggling to find what he considers to be a neutral venue, finally found a fight location that satisfied him when Monaco was agreed upon for the Abraham fight. Froch wanted no part of a fight against Abraham in his adopted country of Germany.

By William Mackay: Former World Boxing Council (WBC) super middleweight champion Carl Froch (26-1, 20 KO’s) plans on staying at the Hellaby Hall Hotel in Rotherham in the UK for 10 weeks while he trains for his October 2nd fight against Arthur Abraham (31-1, 25 KO’s) at the Chapiteau de Fontvielle, Princepaute de Monaco, in Monaco. Froch, 33, will be moving out of his home in Nottingham, England, to stay in the hotel, which isn’t going to be cheap for Froch. The cost per night to stay at the Hellaby Hall is $72, and if Froch ends up staying for 10 weeks, he’ll be dishing out over $5000.

By William Mackay: Carl Froch (26-1, 20 KO’s) got his wish on Thursday by having his stage 3 Super Six tournament fight against Arthur Abraham (31-1, 25 KO’s) take place in Monaco, a neutral venue on October 3rd. Whether it means anything remains to be seen, because Froch for some reason thinks he was ripped off in his last Super Six fight against Mikkel Kessler. Froch lost that fight by a 12 round decision, but Froch thinks he would have won the fight had it taken place in his home city of Nottingham, England.
