The 36-year-old Wladimir hasn’t tasted defeat since losing to Lamon Brewster in 2004, and he’s been very impressive during all these years. However, Wladimir will be without his trainer Emanuel Steward for the first time since the fight before his loss to Brewster and it would be a problem for Wladimir is he’s unable to get the correction guidance from his replacement trainer Johnathon Banks.

Steward passed away recently and Wladimir won’t have him there anymore.

Wach sees the fight as possibly going 12 round, and he’s prepared for it if it comes to that.

Wach said “If it’s gonna be 12 rounds, I am prepared, if it’s gonna be a technical fight I am prepared. I will do anything to get Klitschko’s titles.”

Most boxing fans don’t see this fight going the distance. Either Wladimir gets Wach or Wach gets Wladimir. It pretty much comes to that because both guys have a ton of power and if they unload their payload it’s hard for anyone in the sport to take their big power shots. Obviously, Wladimir is the more established puncher of the two. However, Wach has emerged as a great puncher in the last two years and he’s been knocking out everyone he’s he’s faced recently. Wladimir can’t take Wach lightly because he’ll KO him if he’s able to land his big shots.

Wach wants to put pressure on Wladimir and will be trying to land his big right hand on the chin of the 6’6″ Ukrainian.

Wladimir wants to hold onto his titles for as long as possible so he’s not going to be making it easy for Wach in this fight. Expect Wladimir to stick and move and tie Wach up any chance he can get in order to keep him from landing his big shots.
