After recently hearing that Felix Sturm has announced the date of his next fight (April 13th) in Germany, I would like to make it known I still have not heard anything of a rematch. Maybe their team have not discussed opponents but I’m here, Felix, ready and waiting.

Felix has been a great champion but both me and him know that night in Mannheim he didn’t beat me. Felix can not beat me. I’m the better fighter and he knows this so I’m not expecting him to offer me a rematch. Felix offered Randy Griffin one, Felix offered Mathew Macklin one.

So you have proved to try and correct close fights but I don’t think the Sturm team are confident that he can win this one and as a result they will avoid me, but come on be fair to yourself, to me and the German people who have supported you get this fight on! My manager and promoter built a good relationship with the Sturm team in the build up and negotiations to the last fight so this should be a straight forward agreement. I wont ask for silly money just give me a fair price. I’ll even come to your own city of cologne but I’ll bring double the fans I did last time and anyone watching the last fight seen what a spectacle it was. So imagine nearly 1000 English fans it will be a event remembered for years. So come on, Felix, I’m here ready and waiting! Lets get it on, and I’d like to say to the German people who gave tremendous support after the fight thank you. It meant a lot to me. Now if we sort this rematch out I’ll give you a fight to remember.
