Image: Floyd Mayweather: “I didn’t Watch the [Pacquiao-Marquez] fight Saturday but from what I heard Marquez was cheated”!By Daniel Echevarria: So as many fans where waiting as was I any information on the possibility of Floyd Mayweather watching last Saturdays match-up between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Marquez the definitive answer is NO! According to FIGHTHYPE.com Floyd stated that he was actually in Virginia hosting a party but he was flooded with emails and test messages and from his own words Mayweather said “I didn’t watch the fight, but from what I’m hearing Marquez got cheated.”

Floyd Mayweather also graciously congratulated both men for stepping up and doing it a third time but he (Mayweather) said “I just feel like if you get it done right the first time, there’s no need for a second or third fight”. Floyd is in fact referring to the fact which he did make known in the interview that when he fought Juan Marquez he took almost two years off traveling and vacationing no working out no training what so ever and came in the ring and breezed right through the fight winning every round until the sound of the ending bell was heard.

Ben Thompson of FIGHTHYPE had a few Q & A’s he tried to squeeze out of the pound for pound great like what were his thoughts on Manny Pacquiao as far as what he heard of the fight which Mayweather sort of declined in a smart way by saying “I can’t really say nothing about him (Pacquiao) because there’s been a defamation of character case filed against me, but in the past I was able to criticize my opponents and talk trash in a playful manner but I guess you know now with me talking trash about Manny Pacquiao I GET A LAWSUIT!”
