By Juan dela Cruz: Reason No. 1: That Floyd is bigger in size, defense and harder to hit and that Pacquiao fought mentally damaged fighters.
-Size doesn’t matter as Pacquiao had already proven. Floyd is hard to hit? All of his opponents hit him, can’t imagine if Pacquiao hit Floyd. Seems Floyd fans are fond of watching a chess match where no one gets hit. Mentally damaged fighters? All of Pac’s opponents where in proper condition mentally (the thoughts of big payday) and in his last fight, Margarito has all the motivation to beat Pac, he was just simply outclassed.
Reason No. 2: If Clottey hit Pacquiao, then Floyd can hit him also. We will not argue with that. Pacquiao got hit by powerful punches and Manny just ate them all. Floyd can hit Manny a million times and that’s for sure. The question is, can they harm Manny? Nope. (Floyd’s punches will be massage to Pac’s body). The more Floyd hits Manny, the more Floyd can get hit.
Reason No. 3: Floyd recovered from Shane’s punches in the 2nd round. What’s extra ordinary with that? Go watch the replay. Floyd clinched and never let loose of Shane’s arm until he got recovered. Even amateur fighters can do that. Shane is old washed up fighter, he already lost his power. I can’t imagine if it was Pacquiao that hit him.
Reason No. 4: Manny’s got problems with counter punchers? That was a long time ago. Roach has morphed Manny into a complete fighting machine. It seems Floyd fans are analyzing Manny’s fight when he was still in flyweight. Just to update them, Manny is in welterweight now and just gone to super welter where he still packs skills, strength, speed and stamina. Floyd is mentally strong? Oh my God! Where did all Floyd’s fans got that idea? How can you call a man mentally strong if he beats women, a security guard, an unarmed civilian for free and risk of legal problems but can’t hit Pac legally for 40 million dollars? He is mentally deranged!
