By David Anderson: What seems to be the biggest upset for us boxing fans turned to be one of the most exciting year for boxing history. Late in 2009, rumors exist that a potential fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. was set to happen on March 13, however due to some contract demands, the fight did not push thru. Instead Manny signed a fight with Joshua Clottey on the same fight date. Clottey, for some was virtually unknown. Many boxing fans did not know that Clottey exhibits one of the best defense and one of the toughest chin.

Pacquiao will be facing former IBF welterweight champion Joshua Clottey on March 13th at the Dallas Cowboy stadium, in Arlington, Texas. With the amount of time wasted in Pacquiao’s failed negotiations with Floyd Mayweather Jr., they are getting off to a late start in building up excitement for his next fight.

Mayweather was caught with his arms around the boxer, but has said that she had attacked him first. If she was to have attacked Roger, then Mayweather will get off with maybe just a fine or a few months in prison.

Arum, 79, plans on having some of Pacquiao’s future fights at the Dallas cowboy stadium, according to Abs-cbn news. The advantage is that with the big stadium, Arum can get more paying fans and get more attention to Pacquiao, and help boxing in the process.
No Blood test for Pacquiao-Clottey bout
By Jason Kim: If you’re one of the people who are against boxers having to take random blood tests for their fights, you’ll be relieved to know that the World Boxing Organization won’t be requiring a random blood test for the March 13th bout between WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao and Joshua Clottey at the Dallas Cowboy stadium, in Arlington, Texas.
Examiner.com writer Michael Marley reports that the WBO president Franciso Valcartcel says that the WBO won’t be requiring Pacquiao or Clottey to take the random blood tests for their fights on March 13th.
ESPN Poll: 76% of respondents won’t be watching Pacquiao-Clottey – News
By Sean McDaniel: If the ESPN poll is any guide in which the respondents were asked if they would watch the Pacquiao-Clottey bout shown at the Dallas Cowboy stadium, there could be a general disinterest in the upcoming March 13th bout between WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao and Joshua Clottey at the Dallas Cowboy stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Of 37,000 respondents that have taken part in the poll, 76% of them have voted that they won’t be watching the Pacquiao-Clottey fight. Of course, this is a boxing site that hardcore fans go to more than casual ones.

By Eric Thomas: As reported by ESPN writer Dan Rafael, the Manny Pacquiao vs. Joshua Clottey bout could possibly have former World Boxing Association welterweight champion Antonio Margarito fighting in the co-main event.
If this turns out to be the case, it would be the first bout for Margarito in over a year since his 9th round stoppage loss to Shane Mosley in January 2009.
