Pacquiao: “The one who ran is a coward!”

1-04-3By Chris Williams: In what appears to be a response to the comment Floyd Mayweather Jr. made about Manny Pacquiao being a “sore loser” and a “coward” with the way he made injury excuses after his loss to him on May 2nd, Pacquiao says that the one who ran from him is a coward. Mayweather actually didn’t run from Pacquiao, so it’s unclear how he would get that impression.

Mayweather did use a little bit of lateral movement to get off the ropes each time he would purposefully back up to that spot, but he wasn’t moving much from the center of the ring to get out of the way of Pacquiao’s shots.

Pacquiao: I’m not a sore loser; I just want to tell the truth

pac009By Chris Williams: Recently, Floyd Mayweather Jr. deemed that Filipino fighter Manny Pacquiao is a “sore loser” due to him insisting that he should have been given the decision in their fight on May 2nd of this month. Mayweather further was disgusted by Pacquiao’s injury excuse that he revealed after their fight in which Pacquiao said that he came into their “Fight of the Century” with a bad shoulder injury.

Mayweather was brilliant, says Bradley

bradley73By Chris Williams: Top Rank fighter Tim Bradley (31-1-1, 12 KOs) was really impressed with what he saw of Floyd Mayweather Jr. (48-0, 26 KOs) in his 12 round unanimous decision win over Manny Pacquiao (57-6-2, 38 KOs) in their fight on May 2nd this month.

Bradley thought that Mayweather was nothing short of brilliant in that fight, and he sees him as right alongside the likes of Sugar Ray Leonard in terms of talent.

Image: Mayweather vs. Pacquiao showed changes needed in BoxingBy Rasheed Catapang: About two Weeks removed from the fight of the century in Las Vegas, Nevada, and with Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao now hundreds of millions richer, it’s time to revisit that farce of a boxing match.

Here’s what we learned:

1. The question is did Mayweather benefit from the match being held in MGM Grand, which is his turf?

Mayweather vs. Pacquiao: The day after tomorrow

1-02By Yannis Mihanos: Like there is no Tomorrow. That’s what I expected from the so called “Battle of the Century” between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao on May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. This huge pay per view event should have been an experience once in a lifetime.

The two greatest fighters for a whole generation Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao. But little did I know it would be a disappointment.

Pacquiao: I won 7 rounds to 5 over Mayweather

Image: Pacquiao: I won 7 rounds to 5 over MayweatherBy Chris Williams: Manny Pacquiao has been stewing on his loss to Floyd Mayweahter Jr. for the past 12 days, watching the fight over and over again to determine where he went wrong. But after watching their May 2nd “Fight of the Century” repeatedly, the 36-year-old Filipino has come to the conclusion that he won the fight by a 7 rounds to 5 score.

Sadly, these thoughts weren’t shared by the three judges that scored the fight, nor many fans who paid lots of money to see the fight.

Pacquiao says he’ll make retirement decision after his shoulder heals

pac94By Chris Williams: With a paycheck of over $100+ million for his “Fight of the Century” against the unbeaten Floyd Mayweather Jr. (48-0, 26 KOs) this month, Manny Pacquiao (57-6-2, 38 KOs) says he’s going to make a decision about whether to retire or not after his surgically repaired right shoulder heals. Pacquiao had surgery this month to have his torn right rotator cuff repaired.

Pacquiao: I reviewed the fight, I think I won by 2 points

pac746By Chris Williams: Manny Pacquiao says he sat down and watched a replay of his fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. and he says he thinks he should have won by the fight by two points. Unfortunately for Pacquiao, he wasn’t one of the three judges that scored the fight on May 2nd, because they scored it 116-112, 118-110 and 116-112.

I personally scored the fight 118-110 for Mayweather. 116-112 way too close for the way Mayweather dominated the action. The thing is Mayweather was in 1st gear for most of the fight, and not really putting much effort into it.

Mayweather-Pacquiao: The Great Show

Image: Mayweather-Pacquiao: The Great ShowBy Reveriano: The Boxing Establishment new campaign is magnificently simple. It is basically that the so-called “Fight of the Century” has come and has passed. It had all the potential to live up to its huge price tag but unfortunately Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a boxing genius that is to skilled and Manny Pacquiao gave it his best shot and was injured. It is time for everyone to move on and buy the next great and competitive match on PPV.

This is perhaps the biggest piece of excrement from a large horned animal since the allegation that Saddam Hussein had nuclear weapons. Let’s be honest this was all a great show meant for everyone involved to cash out. And I will rationally prove and show you guys. (Disclosure: I did not pay to watch two aging fighters).

A tribute to Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather Jr.

Image: A tribute to Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather Jr.By Babatis Banda: Floyd Mayweather Jr. has proved from time and time again that he is the best of his era. He has never been shy to say how good or how great he is even when he knew there would be some backlash.

Love or loathe him, he has always had his hands raised after each and every fight. In some moments, he seemed he had reached his summit and the only way was down the hill, but he always upped his game the next fight.
