Image: How do British fans feel after paying to see Haye vs. Harrison?By Scott Gilfoid: British boxing fans sure must be desperate to see local heavyweights fight, because why else would they pay to watch a bout between David Haye and Audley Harrison. While boxing fans outside of the UK were disgusted by this mismatch going into the fight, it seems that for a lot of British boxing fans this was an appealing fight. They loved this little mismatch.

Audley Harrison says he’s going to “reflect” about whether to continue his career

By Sean McDaniel: After getting blown out by WBA heavyweight champion David Haye in a 3rd round TKO on Saturday night, Audley Harrison (27-5, 20 KO’s) says “I’ve got to sit down and reflect” on what to do next with his career. The Haye- Harrison farce

By Dallan o’ Donnell: Billed as the best of enemies, but if we were to base a title around the first two rounds of this Heavyweight world title fight it would have to be “Best of Friends”. For a world title fight i was bitterly disappointed to see two fighters stand off each other and throw nothing. The Manchester crowd had every right to show and air their displeasure as did the viewers at home including me who paid good money for a fight that basically never showed up.

Mike Tyson thinks Haye will have problems against the Klitschkos

By William Mackay: In Sky Sports News Haye vs. Harrison countdown special, Mike Tyson was shown video of WBA heavyweight champion David Haye’s last fight against 38-year-old John Ruiz in April of this year. Tyson didn’t seem all that impressed with what he saw Haye’s form in that fight, as he pointed out that Haye needs to throw more jabs, hold his hands up higher. Tyson said Haye would have problems against the Klitschko brothers fighting like that. Tyson also thinks the 6’6” Harrison will have no problems hitting Haye due to Haye’s low guard, lack of head movement and the fact he doesn’t move a lot.
