Booth: Fury isn’t ready for David Haye

fury1By Scott Gilfoid: David Haye’s trainer/manager Adam Booth thinks the 6’9” British heavyweight contender Tyson Fury (21-0, 15 KO’s) has dramatically improved his game since turning pro in 2008. However, Booth doesn’t see Fury as being anywhere near ready to take on Haye in their fight on September 28th at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, UK.

Booth sees this fight as a case of a raw fighter being thrust into a fight that he’s not ready for at too soon of a time for him.

Booth said to Sky Sports “As a fighter, over the past 12 months he’s improved immensely.

haye1By Scott Gilfoid: If former WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (26-2, 24 KO’s) is able to beat Tyson Fury (21-0, 15 KO’s) in their fight on September 28th in Manchester, UK, Haye is hoping that one of the Klitschko brothers, Vitali or Wladimir, will choose to fight him.

Fury v Haye: Analysis

fury122By B.G.B: The hype is well under way in building up the biggest British heavyweight clash since Bruno v Lewis. On the 28th September former 2 weight world champion David Haye (28- 2 26 KOs) takes on  6 ft 9 prospect Tyson Fury (21- 0 15 KOs). We know what to expect in the build up: name calling, slating, stare downs and perhaps the odd scuffle. All of this is a key element of the promotion of this fight, but what can we expect from the actual fight?

Obviously the large amounts of money involved in this fight is one of the main reasons as to how this fight has materialized. If the money is right, big fights with big risk are made, with this fight being no exception. David Haye is an experienced world champion with fast hands, good movement, fast reflexes and of course explosive power.

Tyson Fury is in a winning situation

fury555By Mark Havey: On the 28th of September we will see Britain’s two most controversial heavyweights lock horns in Manchester. David Haye and Tyson Fury started their war of words some time ago, with Fury making toe references. Fury has also dragged up the past by claiming that Haye ignored him when he was a star struck child.

In Britain a lot of importance is put on domestic clashes and they are the fights that get the fans really excited. In any boxing gym you will hear people debating with animated hand gestures and energized enthusiasm. I see this a lot, and even more so with this recent match up.

The majority of people seem to be siding with David Haye based on his lighting fast combinations. For a heavyweight, Haye is exceptionally fast.

Haye: Fury refused 50/50 offer; won’t sign contract

fury1By Scott Gilfoid: Former WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (26-2, 24 KO’s) is saying that unbeaten contender Tyson Fury (21-0, 15 KO’s) has turned down a 50/50 deal to fight him and that he won’t sign the contract to make the fight.

Fury is talking on his twitter about wanting a bigger cut of the pie, saying he wanted an 80/20 deal. It’s hard to know if Fury is serious or not. If so, then it’s a good way of getting out of the fight by asking for too much.
