Tyson Fury slams David Haye

fury5445By Daniel Mcglinchey: After ongoing discussions continue between rising Heavyweight star Tyson Fury (21-0, 15 KO’s) and former WBA Heavyweight Champion David Haye (26-2, 24 KO’s) Boxing fans are starting to wonder what exactly is going on? Most fans were under the impression the fight was on and were just awaiting the big announcement. But after taking the time to delve into the situation a little deeper it appears that perhaps Mr. Haye’s camp are causing a few problems.

The Hayemaker posted a comment on a social media website earlier this week saying ‘I did everything in my power to get Fury in the ring. Even gifting him a 50/50 split. But big chump won’t sign contract for the fans.’

Tyson added to the fire by making the joke he wanted an 80/20 split.

Peter Fury, Tyson’s uncle and trainer hit back at Haye by saying “we are ready to sign and as far as we’re concerned the fight is 1,000% on from our side. We are even willing to fly to London immediately, even tonight, to get the contract signed.” He also mentioned Haye’s comment was ‘crazy.’

Tyson then went on to comment himself “Listen up p***y. Sign the contract. So we can get down to real business in the ring. 50/50 agreed 6 weeks ago! Lets fight and now, Mr. Jungle.”

There has been no response from David Haye since the Fury’s reaction to his statement.

So where did David get the information that Fury wasn’t willing to accept a 50-50 offer? I believe it was for one reason-

He didn’t expect Tyson to take the fight, he realizes Tyson is a big underdog and highly underrated and could ruin his career by obliterating him in the ring under a strict game plan, so is making excuses to get himself out of this situation he appears to now want no part of.

I messaged Tyson myself to get his opinion on Haye’s recent actions and he sent me the following –

“We have been ready for this for weeks. They still ain’t sent contracts??? If he don’t fight after agreeing to everything on his terms, I’m going public to show what a p***y he really is.”

David is highly regarded on the Heavyweight scene and I struggle to understand why, over the past 2 and a half years David has had only 3 bouts, a win over Audley Harrison and a victory over Dereck Chisora who had lost 3 of his previous 4 bouts, and not forgetting to mention that David was embarrassed and schooled by Champion Wladimir Klitschko.

Whilst Tyson has stayed very busy claiming practically every major title in Britain, beating undefeated prospects, World Title challengers and a former World Champion.

In my opinion if Haye and Fury do get in the ring, as soon as David looks across and sees the young contender he will be thinking only one thing ‘I’m a celebrity get me outta here.’
