Fury says Haye was having problems with sparring partners

deontay5465By Scott Gilfoid: Tyson Fury (21-0, 15 KO’s) has his own theory for why former WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (26-2, 24 KO’s) pulled out of their previously scheduled fight for last month due to a cut over his left eye. Fury thinks the cut wasn’t a legit one, and that he heard that Haye was getting beaten up by his sparring partners in training camp.

As fans already know one of the sparring partners was the huge punching Deontay Wilder. We saw some of the video of the sparring sessions between Deontay and Haye, but it looked like the video had been edited to include mainly the high points of the Wilder-Haye sparring sessions and not where Deontay will likely giving Haye the business.

They were supposed to be fighting this Saturday night, but because of the cut that Haye suffered in sparring, the fight had to be delayed 4 ½ months.

Instead of being happy that he’s still in line for a nice payday that will give 5 million pounds, Fury is whimpering over the fact that he’ll need to restart his training all over again.

Peter Fury worried Haye will cancel February 8th fight to face Povetkin

haye125By Scott Gilfoid: Peter Fury, the trainer for Tyson Fury (21-0. 15 KO’s), has his doubts about whether David Haye (26-2, 24 KO’s) will stick to their new fight date on February 8th in Manchester.

Peter thinks that if WBA heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin is able to pull off an upset of IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko next month in their fight on October 5th, Haye will then pull out of the Fury fight and instead face Povetkin next.

Peter told the Daily Mail “If Povetkin does get the upset then we won’t be holding our breath about our fight with Haye happening on February 8. We know how they operate because they came to talk to us while they were preparing for a fight with Manuel Charr…But if they can get Povetkin that will be even bigger money, plus there will be the world title on the line against a smaller opponent.”

Haye vs. Fury rescheduled for February 8th in Manchester

fury2By Scott Gilfoid: For boxing fans that are eager to see the David Haye (26-2, 24 KO’s) vs. Tyson Fury (21-0, 15 KO’s) fight, they’re going to have to wait 4 ½ months before they can see, as Haye is reporting that the fight has been scheduled for February 8th at the Manchester Arena in the UK.

That will give Haye’s deep cut over his left eye a sufficient time for it to heal.

It’s a heck of a long time for boxing fans to wait, because it’s already been months since their now postponed September 28th fight was signed. Haye and Fury could end up investing a year of their careers’ for this one fight. I mean, both of them are set to make a ton of good cash with them making 5 million pounds each, but what a huge waste to have so much time lost.
