Haye willing to wait another year to get Vitali bout if he has to
By Allan Fox: With WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko already scheduled to face Manuel Charr on September 8th in Moscow, Russia, it pretty much rules out the possibility of a Vitali vs. David Haye fight in 2012. Haye still hoping for Vitali fight
By William Mackay: Former WBA heavyweight champion David Haye is still very much interested in facing WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko in a mega fight in 2012, but right now it’s not looking good for Haye due to the post-fight brawl with Dereck Chisora he as involved with after the Vitali-Chisora fight last month. The WBC reportedly won’t sanction a fight between Haye and Vitali, and that could be the kiss of death for the fight unless the WBC changes it’s mind.
Sulaiman sees Haye as unsuitable for Vitali title defense
By William Mackay: If WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko is to defend his title against former WBA heavyweight champion David Haye in 2012, Vitali is going to have to do some convincing for World Boxing Council President Jose Sulaiman to get him to allow Vitali to take the fight. According to frankmaloney.com, Sulaiman sees Haye as unsuitable for Vitali for the following reasons: Haye isn’t ranked in the top 15 by the WBC, he doesn’t have a boxing license with the British Boxing Board of Control, and it would look bad for Vitali to be fighting him.
