By Sean McDaniel: What has become lost in the news about WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko electing to fight fringe contender Dereck Chisora on February 18th next year is what happened with the offer that Vitali made to Haye about a fight. Nothing has been said about the offer from Haye as to whether or not he was agreeable to it.

McKenna (McJack): The manager for the Klitschko brothers, Bernd Boente has confirmed from Vitali’s training camp in the Austrian Alps that talks are ongoing for a showdown between former World Boxing Association (WBA) heavyweight champion David Haye (25-2, 23 KO’s) and WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (43-2, 40 KO’s).
