Can’t Adrien Broner do better than Carlos Molina for May 3rd?

broner8583By Scott Gilfoid: Floyd Mayweather Jr. will be having Adrien Broner (27-1, 22 KO’s) and Amir Khan (28-3, 19 KO’s) both on his May 3rd fight card at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, but unfortunately both of them appear headed for disappointing fights that make it hardly worth having them on his career. Broner is said to be fighting Carlos Molina (17-1-1, 7 KO’s), and we’re talking the light welterweight version of Carlos Molina, not the IBF junior middleweight champion.

Khan’s opponent on the card is still being worked out, but Luis Collazo is the guy that Golden Boy Promotions are reportedly interested in matching against him. However, Collazo is a far more appealing opponent than Molina is for Broner. Molina hasn’t fought in over a year since his 10th round stoppage loss to Khan in 2012.
