Foreman, 30, hasn’t fought since June last year when he was taken out in the 9th round against Miguel Cotto in a fight in which Foreman’s previously injured right knee gave out on him in the 7th when he was being pursued around the ring by Cotto.

Yuri Foreman, the former WBA junior middleweight champion, was also a possibility to face Wolak but reportedly the money isn’t right.

Pawel, 29, doesn’t have an opponent picked out as off yet, but there is talk that he could fight either former International Boxing Federation (IBF) welterweight champion Joshua Clottey or former WBA junior middleweight champion Yuri Foreman. Both Foreman and Clottey are coming off of one-sided beatings and all three fighters are with Top Rank.

Chavez Jr. vs. Wolak fight off, Julio sick

By Dan Ambrose: For boxing fans hoping to see unbeaten middleweight contender Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (41-0-1, 30 KO’s) fight Pawel Wolak (27-1, 17 KO”s) this Saturday night, they got the bad news today that Chavez Jr. is sick with with the flu and won’t be available to fight on the card. According to Dan Rafael of ESPN, Chavez Jr. had a temperature of 103 F this morning and he won’t be able to make the “In Harms Way” fight this Saturday night at the Honda Center, in Anaheim, California.
