By William Mackay: Showing that he’s flexible in terms of where the fight would take place, Matchroom Sports Promoter Eddie Hearn said that his unbeaten fighter Kell Brook (27-0, 18 KO’s) would take a fight against new champion WBA World welterweight title holder Paulie Malignaggi (31-4, 7 KO’s) in the UK or the United States just as long as Brook got the title shot.

By Scott Gilfoid: Dan Rafael is reporting that Kell Brook and his team couldn’t agree on a fight against former IBF/WBC light welterweight champion Devon Alexander, who they wanted to come to the UK to fight in Brook’s venue on July 7th. That would never work, of course, because Alexander just finished fighting on February 25th, and by the time they started talking with Brook’s people for a fight, there wasn’t enough time to adequately train for a fight in July.
