Image: Khan: The Mayweather fight is the one people want to seeBy William Mackay: For some reason WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan (24-1, 17 KO’s) is convinced that boxing fans want to see him fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. I honestly don’t see the interest that Khan is talking about from fans, because the fighter that I mostly see lumped with Khan is Marcos Maidana. Boxing fans want to see a rematch between the two of them, but for some reason Khan isn’t taking notice.

Image: Khan says he'll be ready for Mayweather in three or four fightsBy William Mackay: WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan (24-1, 17 KO’s) still doesn’t realize how bad he looked in winning a 12 round decision over slugger Marcos Maidana (29-2, 27 KO’s) last weekend. Image: Khan isn't ready for Mayweather now or ever: Why is he being rushed into the fight?By William Mackay: All you have to do is take one look at rounds 10 through 12 of last Saturday’s bout between Amir Khan (24-1, 17 KO’s) and Marcos Maidana (29-2, 27 KO’s) to know that Khan isn’t ready for a fighter like Floyd Mayweather Jr. Khan, 24, was badly staggered in the 10th and took terrible one-sided punishment in the last rounds of the fight. This wasn’t the strong performance that his handlers and boxing fans were hoping it would be.

One theory on why Pacquiao-Mayweather isn’t happening

By Tommaso Nappo: Now before the writer is accused of taking one too many blows to the head himself. Or being an herbalist ( and I don’t mean oregano, or parsley), hear me out. Back in the earlier 80’s Marvin Hagler was constantly fighting for the approval of the boxing world in hopes they would give him his due as being the the best fighter of his era.
