Fury-Chisora: Tyson has the size but does he have the punch to win?
By Sean McDaniel: Undefeated Tyson Fury (14-0, 10 KO’s) stands 6’9” and weighs 250+ pounds and is one of the biggest heavyweights in the division. He’s got size but his power is lacking in a major way. On July 23rd, Fury, 23, is going to have to find enough power to defeat British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Dereck Chisora (14-0, 9 KO’) in their fight at the Wembley Arena in Wembley, England.
Audley Harrison wants the Chisora-Fury winner
By Sean McDaniel: 39-year-old Audley Harrison (27-5, 20 KO’s) said he wants the winner of this month’s fight between British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Dereck Chisora vs. Tyson Fury on July 23 at the Wembley Arena. Harrison has done zero since suffering an embarrassing 3rd round TKO loss to WBA heavyweight champion David Haye last year in November, but he’d still like to take on the winner of the Chisora vs. Fury bout because of the two titles that Chisora currently has in his possession.
Steward: Wladimir will likely fight in December, possibly against Chisora or Povetkin
By William Mackay: Emanuel Steward sees IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (56-3, 49 KO’s) back in the ring around the middle of December against contenders possibly Dereck Chisora or Alexander Povetkin depending on how things go in Chisora’s July 23rd bout against Tyson Fury. If Fury wins the fight, Steward says Wladimir probably won’t be fighting Fury. Steward sees the still very gree Fury moving ahead picking up more experience to improve slowly. Steward is giving Fury the edge over Chisora in their match-up.
Chisora wants Wladimir after Fury bout on 7/23
By Sean McDaniel: British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Dereck Chisora (14-0, 9 KO’s) faces the talk 6’9″ Tyson Fury (14-0, 10 KO’s) in what Chisora hopes to be a rather routine title defense on July 23 at the Wembley Arena, Wembley, London, England. Although Fury has gotten a lot of press with his mouth, his size and some of his wins, Chisora figures to beat him easily and then go after a fight against IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko later in the year.
Chisora-Fury bout more important now with Wladimir possibly facing the winner
By Sean McDaniel: British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Dereck Chisora (14-0, 9 KO’s) vs. Tyson Fury (14-0, 10 KO’s), which is set to take place on July 23rd, at the Wembley Arena, Wembley, London, UK, is now an even more important fight with IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (56-3, 49 Ko’s) saying he’s interested in facing the winner of this British domestic level bout.
Wladimir looking at facing Chisora-Fury winner next
By William Mackay: If former WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (25-2, 23 KO’s) wants a rematch with IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (56-3, 49 KO’s) he better get in line and start groveling something fierce for the shot because Wladimir says he’s interested in facing the winner of the July 23 fight between British and Commonwealth champion Dereck Chisora (14-0, 9 KO’s) and unbeaten challenger Tyson Fury (14-0, 10 KO’s) at the Wembley Arena, Wembley, London, UK.
Chisora doesn’t see anything in Fury that worries him
By Sean McDaniel: British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Dereck Chisora (14-0, 9 KO’s) may be the smaller man on July 23rd against the 6’9″ Tyson Fury (14-0, 10 KO’s) when they meet up at the Wembley Arena, Wembley, London, UK. However, Chisora isn’t worried about anything that he sees from Fury and feels that he’ll be able to deal with anything he brings to the table in that fight.
Fury vs. Chisora: Tyson may have too much size for Dereck
By Sean McDaniel: Sometimes a fighter can win a fight based on size alone. This may be the case for the July 23rd bout between 6’9″ unbeaten Tyson Fury (14-0, 10 KO’s) and 6’1″ British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Dereck Chisora (14-0, 9 KO’s) at the Wembley Arena in Wembley, London, England. If both fighters were around the same size, Chisora wins 10 out of 10 times.
Fury vs. Chisora: Tyson has to keep the fight on the outside to win
By Sean McDaniel Unbeaten heavyweight Tyson Fury (14-0, 10 KO’s) has always been able to walk down his overmatched and smaller opponents to batter them at close range to score knockout wins. For the most part, Fury has been able to get away with this despite having very mediocre boxing. Fury has done it on size along mostly. On July 23, Fury is being put in with a very good fighter in British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Dereck Chisora (14-0, 9 KO’s) in a fight at the Wembley Arena, Wembley, London, England.
