Deontay Wilder: I’m going to destroy Fury bad

1-Screen Shot 2015-09-26 at 10.46.45 PMBy Scott Gilfoid: WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (35-0, 34 KOs) didn’t like the trash talking that IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) recently did at his post-fight press conference last Saturday night after his narrow win over Wladimir Klitschko in Dusseldorf, Germany.

To pay Fury back, Wilder says he’s going to whip him so bad that even his mother won’t be able to recognize him and his wife will leave him. Deontay says that Fury won’t be able to have a substitute in the ring with him on the night that he fights him. He’ll have to be in there with Wilder all by himself, and that means he’s going to likely take a bad beating.

Deontay Wilder vs. Artur Szpilka possible for January 16th

1-Screen Shot 2015-09-26 at 10.53.09 PMBy Scott Gilfoid: With Vyacheslav Glazkov opting to go in another direction to go after the IBF title, WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (35-0, 34 KOs) could wind up facing #8 WBC Artur Szpilka (20-1, 15 KOs) on January 16th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

You can say that the 26-year-old Szpilka and Glazkov are both about the same in terms of talent, so it’s not a big deal of Wilder ends up facing Szpilka rather than Glazkov. I see Szpilka as having the better punching power than Glazkov, but not the same chin.

Tyson Fury to Deontay Wilder: “I’ll destroy you!”

fury8912By Scott Gilfoid: IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) and WBC champion Deontay Wilder (35-0, 34 KOs) went back and forth earlier today in talking trash to one another. Fury said that he plans on destroying the 6’7” Wilder in a unification fight just as soon as he gets past Wladimir Klischko (64-4, 53 KOs) in a unification fight in early 2016.

“Bronze Bomber, how about a unification fight for all the belts, you skinny, ball playing, bum city!” Fury said on his Twitter. “I’ll destroy you, [expletive]!!! Any time!!”

Deontay Wilder: I would have KO’d Klitschko

1-Screen Shot 2015-09-26 at 10.51.17 PMBy Scott Gilfoid: WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (35-0, 34 KOs) got a chance to see last Saturday’s fight between IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (64-4, 53 KOs) and Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs), and he was anything but impressed with the lack of action in the fight.

Wilder says the fight was very, very boring to watch, and that the two fighters looked more like dancers than boxers in the ring. Wilder, 6’7”, says he would have knocked the 39-year-old Wladimir out if it had been him in the ring with him, because he would have thrown too many power punches for Wladimir to deal with. Wladimir wasn’t throwing anything in the fight and was just moving around and looking scared.

wilder(Photo credit: Lucas Noonan/Premier Boxing Champions) By Scott Gilfoid: The hard hitting WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (35-0, 34 KOs) says he’s ready to face IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) for all of his titles just as soon as Wilder gets through with his voluntary defense against a still to be determined opponent on January 16th at the beautiful Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Wilder, 30, is ready to skip past his mandatory defense against #1 WBC Alexander Povetkin in order to face the 6’9” Fury in a unification fight after his January fight. The question now is whether Fury is willing to face Wilder.

Deontay Wilder: I’m definitely going to KO Tyson Fury

wilder444(Photo credit: Lucas Noonan/Premier Boxing Champions) By Scott Gilfoid: WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (35-0, 34 KOs) wasn’t that surprised to hear the news that Wladimir Klitschko (64-4, 53 KOs) was beaten last Saturday night by Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs).

Deontay says that Wladimir probably wasn’t 100 percent for the fight due to the injuries he’d suffered during training camp for the fight. Wilder also thinks that Wladimir got too accustomed to fighting shorter fighters recently, and it was a problem for him when he had to fight someone as tall Fury. Wilder now says he’s hoping that the Fury can hold onto his titles long enough for him to get a fight with him so that he can whip him to take all of them from him.

Tyson Fury: Deontay Wilder is going to have to wait

wlad888By Scott Gilfoid: A day after beating the aging 39-year-old Wladimir Klitschko (64-4, 53 KOs) by a 12 round unanimous decision to pick up his IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight title belts, Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) says he has no interest in getting into the ring to face the hard hitting talented American Deontay Wilder (35-0, 34 KOs) for his WBC heavyweight title.

Fury says his focus right now is on facing Klitschko in a rematch in 2016, and after that he’ll go from there. Klitschko had a rematch clause in his contract with the 6’9” Fury for their fight last Saturday night in front of 55,000 screaming fans at the ESPRIT Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Deontay Wilder targeting Tyson Fury

1-WILDERvsMOLINA-06132015-4562By Scott Gilfoid: Now that Wladimr Klitschko (64-4, 53 KOs) has been dethroned, WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (35-0, 34 KOs) smells blood in the water and wants to go after newly crowned IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) to take his four world titles before someone else beats him to it.

Wilder, 6’7”, now recognizes himself as the best of the heavyweight world champions now that Wladimir is a thing of the past. Wilder could very well be correct in viewing himself as the best in the heavyweight division, because Fury, 6’9”, certainly didn’t look that great tonight in squeaking out a 12 round unanimous decision by the scores of 115-112, 115-112 and 116-111 at the ESPRIT Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany.
